enfield: You nailed it as I have the exact same set up (including the 60) with the exact same questions.
on Android OS for torque pro App.
1. Boot up Torque Pro.
2. Pick the setting icon in lower left of screen, looks like a cog with 3 bars in it's center.
3. Pick Settings
4. Pick manage extra PIDs/Sensors
5. Pick the 3 vertical dots in top right of screen in banner.
6. Pick Add custom PIDs from drop down.
7. Input desired Data and String.
8. pick either test or OK.
that should get you where you want to be, i just sat here and run through the steps on my couch so can't tell you what happens after the point of OK or Test, i'm not good from much info beyond that at *this point*, i'm still juggling a bunch of stuff since the truck is still new to me, working on baselining the thing, sorting out minor foibles, some saftey issues, and a bunch of other stuff and i've just gotten back from a trip out to Moab and the Rockies so should have more time to dedicate to this thread and lend a hand where i can, i'll be updating this thread with what i can dig up and figure out as i go along, it'd be nice to have my truck fully mapped, i know that's likely not going to happen but i think i can get pretty close, it's just going to take some time fellas,so stay tooned!

A PID of 01b4 returns an error. Note uppercase 'B'

The Torque Pro built in Transmission Temperature works for my 2002 LX470.
Note that a lot changed with the '04 upgrade.
All - I've been chasing this for weeks and have tried several different PID's found on other threads/forums and still no luck. So, figured I'd go ahead and throw something up on this thread about it. I have a 2006 LC and I keep running into an issue with my tft gauge in Torque. I'm using the above configuration and everything seems to work correctly until about 10-min into my drive. My tft gauge seems to reset...and then the "Lowest Value" bottoms out at -41.8 (see pic). Has anyone else run into this? Also, I don't feel the tft gauge is actually reading correctly...the highest reading I've gotten over the last month is 115.7*. I'm in Oregon and the temps have been in the 30's, but I still think something is off here. Any help is greatly appreciated!

In my case I’ve downloaded for 2004 Land Cruiser and 2015 Sienna. Has everything and more that I want to monitor on both vehicles, on the same device.

The PID downloads are an “extra” that are purchased within the Fusion app. So you never actually see what the PID codes are.
I figured $20.00 was cheap compared to my time spent messing around with getting codes entered and read correctly for all that I wanted to monitor on two vehicles.

Just chiming in on a relevant thread .
I just installed the OBD LX reader and am using the car scanner pro app on my 2002.
With this setup transmission temperatures were available without adding any custom PIDs. Now I'm chasing down a way to get oil pressure and other fun stuff on the dashboard. There appears to be software than can convert the scanguage x commands for other platforms so I wrote them for some pids.

Ignore the numbers I'm in demo mode and just testing stuff out . I don't wanna become that guy who stares at temps all day but it's good to know your T's and P's are all good sometimes.

How does the Car Scanner Pro app compare with Torque Pro app?
I've used Torque Pro for years and just haven't kept up with other apps.
BTW, I use the Konnwei OBD2 adapter that looks identical to OBDLink LX - same color, same lights, and the ON/OFF button too.

The app is great , honestly I thought torque was clunky and not very exciting but to be fair I only tested the light version .
I was also able to write the developer of the car scanner app and they responded same day so thats cool.
As for the reader I went back and forth on cheapy vs quality . I ended up spending a few more bucks for the warranty and customer support
