Forgot I had this in a box. Bought new from Toyota and was installed on a 1984 FJ60 with stock 2F. Has about 500 miles on it so it has had very little use.

1984 FJ60 with 197K. Color is white and it looks like original paint. I have had this truck for about a year, but I have a new job and I am consolidating my hobbies and vehicles, so unfortunately this...
Need a 3-groove balancer for an 84 FJ60. Already checked with Mark's Offroad and Georg at Valley Hybrids, but none to be had. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it much. Thanks.
My harmonic balancer pulley...that's what!
I took my rig to Mark's for a valve adjust since the valve train had a distinctive tappety tap that came about from another machanic's sloppy work. Mark fixed that right up and the valves are smoother than ever, of course. Kudos to Mark!
On the...
Thought I would start a new thread for this. I changed out my fuel pump and then started experiencing some chatter under the hood after the drive home. Sounded like valves way out of adjustment, but with a significant knock. It increases/decreases with speed. I thought it was the new pump...
Update: More noise with old pump - Noisy 2F fuel pump...but its new!
Just put in a brand new Kyosan fuel pump and it chatters and knocks like crazy. Do these things needs to break in at all or is mine just junk right out of the box? Old one was a Kyosan as well and barely made any noise at all...
...ended up snapping off the elbow of the booster check valve. It is the white plastic elbow coming off of the face of the booster body in the upper right-hand quadrant. It was so brittle it just fell to pieces with the slightest tug. I guess it was good that it failed under maintenance and not...
The carb on my 84 60 doesn't have the stock jets in it. I am having tuning issues, obviously so I want to tune it back to stock...anyone got some laying around? Will pay, of course.
I bought the truck about a month ago and I am now discovering that if it sits idling for about 10 minutes or so it will start to blow blue smoke. I wish I would have seen it when I test drove the thing. NOT HAPPY.
It is a MAF Hi-po 2F rebuild that has about 55K on it. Not impressed on any...
On my 84 FJ60 I have the 38 gallon Long Ranger fuel tank. It was installed by the previous owner or maybe MAF...can't remember. I have verified that my fuel sender and gauge both work, but the sender float arm has been lengthened to try to accommodate the larger tank. No matter which way I mount...
My AC compressor is toast and I need it replaced. I am in SoCal and having a very difficult time finding someone competent to work on my 84 FJ60. I have had one shop work on it and they botched the job thinking it was only the clutch bearing. They released the vehicle WITHOUT testing the...
Selling the pair. These came with my Cruiser when I bought it. I think someone here on 'Mud built them, but don't recall who. Very nicely built.
They are used, but in great shape. They bolt together with flush mounted bolts. The locks work and the drawers slide easily on some nylon strips so...
2 brake rotors for FJ60/62. New in the box. Made by "Mountain" out of Japan.
Would like to get $100 shipped (what I paid for them) for these. Located in SoCal.
I have decided to stop work on my 62 since picking up this nice 1984 60 a few hours north of me in SLO.
Drives nice and has a MAF rebuilt hi-po 2F mated to an h55f and 4.11 gears. The OME lift was fairly plush, too. This thing made my 62 seem like a slug of epic proportions!
Now, I just have...
I already did a quick search and came up with plenty of posts on longer studs for aftermarket wheels, etc.
I just need to know the length of the OEM studs for running OEM wheels. Going to replace the front studs when I do the front end rebuild. Thanks.
Decisions, decisions...
After months of thinking about it, I want to start looking at the H55F swap into my 62. The old A440f is starting to show her wrinkles. Once she gets heat soaked she just doesn't get the power out like she should even with a big tranny cooler.
So...who in Southern...
