I have decided to stop work on my 62 since picking up this nice 1984 60 a few hours north of me in SLO.

Drives nice and has a MAF rebuilt hi-po 2F mated to an h55f and 4.11 gears. The OME lift was fairly plush, too. This thing made my 62 seem like a slug of epic proportions!

Now, I just have to get some new tires and baseline a few things. Other than that it is good to go!

I like the look of that rig a lot! Can you give me the tire size you are running? I'm about to get mine on the road and like the look of it. Do you know what lift was installed - in terms of height and whether it was a medium or heavy?

Congrats. The h55 and 4:11's will make for some great offroad capabilities if you chose to go that route.

I think the PO paid around $1500 for it in 2006 if I read the old paperwork correctly. It is a MAF unit.

Thanks! Yeah, they are 33 x 10.5 BFG ATs, but they actually have very little tread left. The sand makes them look like they have more meat than they do.

The lift is OME medium 2.5 inch.

Yeah, I have been meaning to get over to the meetings after I had my 62. Now I gotta get over there and meet the other local cruiser nuts.

LOL...I saw a guy and his gal actually walking circles around it and pointing at this or that in downtown Seal Beach today. This thing turns heads like crazy on the road, too. I've only had it 2 days! The 62 never did that!
