It will be 10 years in November! Finally to the body assembly stage! I'll be looking for engine bay decals soon, maybe even this decade:grinpimp:. Brake booster, air filter housing, coolant surge tank and alternator. Where's the best source?

City Racer and Cruiserteq have what you need. Looks like you have an air filter housing, if not check with Marks Off Road.

Thanks, I wasn't very clear, just the decals is what I'm looking for. City Racer seems to have most of the decals though.

Paint job looks fantastic ("better than factory")!
Congrats mate and keep it coming!

PS. Do you have a Build thread that I missed? 🤔

Simple but somehow very satisfying piece to put together!
As soon as it warms up a little I'll be taking the truck outside to run it a up to operating temperature so I can re torque the head bolts and reset the valves before the fenders, bib and hood go on.

I've been able to spend some time on this project over the last few weeks. Hoping to get the box, tailgate and cab guard painted in February so I can finish putting everything together before spring arrives.

Ordered tires to go on the factory 2 piece wheels today.

I have found a source for all the decals in the engine bay that I want except the one for the alternator. Anybody been able to find a source for the alternator decal?

Where did you source your Master Cylinder? Mine came from SOR and it has the slanted reservoirs. My originals are like yours. Thx, Ken

@PG45er do you have any pictures of bare interior and underside of cab you can post? There are not a lot of good refence pictures for 73-78 45 cab floors out there. I also own a Canadian 45lp-kk and unfortunetaly my floor pan is literally non-existant as I am sure you have seen

I like your knee protection pads. Been there, done that.

The Canadian spec 45's with FF rear axle used 3 inch shoes and a 1 1/8 master cylinder. At the time there was nothing available in North America so I ordered from Australia. I don't recall the name of the seller but I may still have the box and can have a look when I'm in the shop tomorrow.

There wasn't much left of my floor either. I don't have great pictures but here are a few of what I have.

A few more. The replacement floor under the drivers seat I made myself and just bead rolled it.

Thank you! I appreciate it. I saw an ad for one the other day from down under also. May have To go that route. Mine is the same. FF Rear, 3 inch brakes and the 1 1/8 bore on the MC. But at the time SOR swore they were sending me the correct one for that year. But I’ve found a few variations to parts along the way due to it being an Aussie spec rig.

Had a look and I don't have the box from the master cylinder any more. I guess that's what happens when you start purging and throw out stuff you don't think you'll ever have a use for.

No worries. Appreciate it nonetheless. As they say: “I’ll get it sorted” 😂
