Got my new-to-me LX570 out for its inaugural road trip before I start adding parts. First up: 285/75r17 Toyo Open Country R/T Trails and 17” Black Rhino wheels with a sensor lift.

Completely different beast than my 100-series, but learning to love it.

Yep that's a fun one. Extra fun in heavy rain, lol. Bent up some 80-series radius arms on that trail when it got a little too slippery. One of my favorite camping spots is around there.

We were going to head out to redcone but decided on spending the day here.

Glad we did. It was quiet, only saw 2 other people all day. Such a fun low key loop especially with how deep all the water crossings were.

We took MSV up and Coney down.

Not gonna lie, took some hard hits in the rock gardens lol. Solo and no spotter.

Feels good to be on the open road. As much as I look forward to the destination, I enjoy the journey too swilling high test.

Nice setup. Let us know how it pulls that airstream! Those are heavy!

She's pretty dialed at this point with about 20k towing miles. The LX manages it great regardless of winds, grades, speed.

Yes, heavy. Pic above was stopping by a CAT scale. Been at 15,620 lbs with a family of 6 prior, so we're a bit lighter this trip with 4. Airstream 27FB is ~7700 lbs accounting for ~1100 lbs tongue weight on the LX.
