Just did the oil and air filter and the cruiser seems pretty happy.

Dumped the oil at the landfill and got the cruiser weighted. 6040lbs was the damage

Take off me and my son ~250lbs and fuel 25g @~150lbs gives us an empty weight of 5640lbs and stock weight of 5390lbs

This means the 33" tires, drawers, recovery gear, and other crap in the drawers all adds to 250lbs. I guess that's not too bad.?

Windshield replacement first time since I owned it, no rust, previous one was riveted in. New moldings going in all covered by insurance. Safelite in Aurora CO, very knowledgeable about how to install correctly.

Installed AC condenser fan with OE appearance.

Pretty soon after acquiring my LC100 I had the entire AC system replaced (no rear AC). It worked pretty good except on 90+ degree days and/or when siting in stop and go traffic. I read a lot about possible fixes. Turns out that I got shorted a condenser fan. From what I have read people claim that all if not most 98-99 models have a condenser fan. So I was thinking maybe I don't have the fan because i have an early production model? Or because I do not have rear AC? The Guy up the street has a 99 with rear AC and he has a condenser fan. OEM fan on his appears to be about 10 inches in diameter. I read on Mud that a few guys who did not have this fan (for whatever reason) have added there own. So I decided to give it a go. First I looked at installing an OEM fan. Was going to end up costing about $150 all in, including fan, wiring, switch etc. No thanks. I like to use OEM for these types of things, but no way I am paying $75 for a 10 inch fan. So I researched a few companies that supply these types of fans to OEMs and found some good OE quality stuff. I ended up with:

12 inch slim push/pull fan.

LED wiring harness.

$31.97 all in. And it is a 2 inch larger fan, so it should work a little better than the OEM fan.

I just wired it to the switch that came with the harness. I will turn it one manually during hot days. It will get used a lot 5 months of the year.

Greased the shafts and joints. Drained 4 quarts from the tranny and added it back. Checked all the fluids.
Slapped the Stihl on top.
Getting ready for a trip to the Ozarks Saturday. Can’t wait to drive it.
