If you have the 6" diameter pulley, you should need a Gates 9570 belt. I have a 7" pulley and am running a 9580 belt, which makes it sit just a tad to high, but is ok now. At the time all I could find fast was a 9580 and 9570 belt. I have ordered a 9575 belt now, so when I put the York back on after all the test fits of the new brackets, I can put the new belt on and have plenty of hood clearance.

Trailbus was right on the money!! I prefer the 111 and 112 just because I like JIC fittings, but 113 and 114 are probably much easier to work with. Personally, for the suction side I would use the JIC fittng (112)adapted to your filter with a 45 degree JIC adapter to pipe thread. Then on the pressure side use the hose barb (113) so you can clamp your high pressure hose to it.

How come you didn't use the flange adapters that came with the compressor in the first picture? Those would be perfect to use.

Because I'm a dumbass... I didn't think it through. I didn't realize anything would connect up to those. I'm going to try and return the Kilby ones once I figure out how to make it fit.

EDIT: just went down to the garage - I think I'm going to keep the Kilby flanges. They were $44 for the pair but everything right now hooks up to them. The original flanges have a slightly finer thread, so I would have to hunt for the adapter.

Phil, don't even sweat it. The flanges are about the same price from Napa anyway.

I'm gonna check out whats currently on my york and see if I can make them work, otherwise, may as well go with Kilby flanges and just work with the NPT fittings.

Pipe fittings are easier to work with. I thought the kilby flanges were decently priced. In fact, I wondered how the kilby flanges would work for the heater hose bypass.

So I've got my 2.5 gallon 150psi max tank... since I wont have OBA for my trip this weekend (JK lumpdog! ;p), I was wondering if I filled up my tank with air if it would be enough to air my 33s back up from 15psi or so to 35 psi (4 of them)?

Is the York in Appletech's pics above a flange head? I don't know how to tell the differences (but I do want one of your brackets )

Sorry no one answered you! Yes mine is a flange head - the connectors are connected with 2 bolts on either side on the flange, rather than the fitting being screwed on vertically, as with most Ford applications.

Not even close. 2.5 gal might take you from 15 to 25 on one tyre.

I'll look into a hand throttle - great idea!

Got my tank mounted up. The only things left to do are hook up all the air lines and find a place to mount the manifold and pressure switch, then wire it all up!

Its a 2.5 gal tank from 4wheelparts.com. It was $75 which seems to be par for the course, unless you go used. Max PSI is 150, but VIAIR only sells a 175psi relief valve, so I'm guessing that it's real max PSI is higher...

Anybody found an alternate spot to mount the air tank? I'm planning on adding a fuel sub-tank in the rear there. Putting the air tank inside is also out of the question. Perhaps I may have to just get some custom air-tight sliders or something...

Yep - I carry a 5 gallon tank @ about 140PSI now, and it will take 4 33s from about 20PSI to about 25PSI.

I've seen it done around here somewhere... same with sliders... I don't know that I would ever really do it but I'm gonna be thinking hard on how to fit it all under there...
