Got my wheels back from the refinisher and they nailed it! Had them use Toyota grey for the pockets from the bumper paint code found on this forum.

Pulled the radiator today (as well as alternator and power steering pump + new transmission and power steering hoses). The radiator I pulled is a Koyo C1917 I installed August 2008. No issue with cooling, just part of age related PM. Replacing with the same unit. I noticed a lot of tiny little "cracks" in the plastic tanks. When your use case is decades long, it seems like pretty much every plastic or rubber part needs the be replaced "routinely". I'm having issues with factory wire connectors getting brittle and breaking now. Happened with the connector on the alternator. Just hoping I get positive engagement click when I put it back together. Sourcing specific connectors and repinning them isnt something I really know how to do, but I guess I'll get better at it. Didnt start reassembly today because damn dealership didnt receive (or order, I think) the radiator mounts/isolators I ordered on Tuesday... it has been said before, but I miss the CDan days when a phone call got you EVERYTHING down to the smallest bit n' bob you would need to do any specific job.

Also welded up a cage last night for a Truck Fridge 65L fridge I bought. Used 5/8" 16ga steel tube with perforated metal shielding over the compressor and sensitive bits. No pic yet, just primed it last night. Will post up once I'm ready to install everything.

@deltavehiclesystems center console installed onto the LS3 swapped 80 that’s here. Customer requested HAM radio so we went with the Yaesu. The receiver was installed onto the outside of the console. Although we did consider mounting it inside we felt outside was going to be a more convenient spot. The bracket holes were slotted so that we could use the standard console holes available.

For the speaker, we chose to use the speaker that’s under the steering wheel by the left knee. It was already there and a simple install.

The faceplate mounting is next but we are doing something custom like we did for the last 80 we had here.

Wheels Look great! Can you share who you used an approximate cost per wheel?

Thanks!

Installed my other Yodateq flip up today. Used single window seals instead of the ones from my sliders. The end result looks so much better. I was amazed at how the new seals are both easier and harder to install at the same time.

Also forgot that I still have the Lexus first aid kit in the interior panel cubby. Who still has one of these?

I just ordered this roof rack. It's beautiful
You’re going to love it. I just spent a week putting it through some abuse in the desert. Lots of weight at high speeds offroad…topped out around 85-90 a few times. Congrats.
