2000 Lexus LX470, 202,941 miles, Located: Houston, Texas. Price $14,000.
I am the second owner of this vehicle. I purchased it in 2016 with 173,000 from the first owner in Austin. This car has been in Texas its entire life, other than 2009-2010 when it was in Memphis (same owner). All maintenance by the original owner was done at the Lexus dealer, and the complete history is available. Original owner said that that the right front fender was dented in 2009, but other than that, no major accidents.

Great condition rust free 1998 LX470 completely baselined in October 2020 showing 279,xxx miles and ready for any adventure.
Modest suspension build that rides great on and offroad with ARB Old Man Emu medium lift and 275 18 BFG all terrain.
All Aisin and OEM parts were used in the timing belt/water pump service in October of last year. Toyota Heater T’s and drive flanges were added as well as brand new OME shocks. OEM roof rack delete with running board delete and front OEM mud guards installed.

Hey everyone. New to the forum and LC/LXs but not new to enthusiast cars/trucks/SUVs. I've lusted over these SUVs for years and have yet to pull the trigger...Well maybe until now.
As the title states. I have a colleague that has a 04 LX w/300k that he told me he'd sell to me for $5k. Is it worth it? The exterior is pretty clean, I'd give it a 6.5/10 and the interior is really clean, i'd say 8/10. Im going to head out to his place today to check it out and ill report back. Anything I should keep an eye out for besides rust, timing belt, leaks?

I’ve decided to put my 2000 LC up for sale.
161k miles. River rock metallic green mica. Tan interior. I’m the third owner. PA, UT, now Boston for the last 3 years. I bought it in Utah 5 years ago.
The good:
- Interior is in amazing shape. Seats especially.
- Nitto Terra Grapplers(33’s) have 90% life left
- OME 1.5” lift
- studded snow tires also come with it
- despite there being some rust in some bad replacement panels, the underside is pretty good. I had it coated a few years back, so there’s only some surface rust.
- Upgraded radio with Sirius and Bluetooth.
The bad:
-right rear quarter panel needs rust repair (it was a replacement panel from the previous owner that wasn’t properly sealed, hence the rust)

*I just picked her up from the shop after having the front brakes re-done (new pads & rotors) as well as having the front bearings replaced (with seals). I drove it last week and felt the brakes chattering, so I couldn't sell it that way - so now we're back to good as new! Also, new OME shocks have been ordered and will be installed prior to delivery.

Sold my 100 a few months back and have been living with extreme regret so figured I would take a shot in the dark and see if/what is on the market.
I am not too picky in what I am wanting other than minimal rust and under 250K miles if possible. LX or LC are both acceptable.
Not looking for an overhaul type project, but also not looking for a BaT worthy vehicle as identified by my budget.
Like I said, taking a real shot in the dark as I am trying to stay around 10K (who knows, maybe I'll get lucky)
Not wanting to travel too far, so vehicles in North Carolina, South Carolina or Eastern VA are definitely obtainable.
