Saw this pop up on Craigslist today. No Texas registration sticker in the front windshield and paper plates indicates the guy is probably a flipper, but at $17k obo for an ahc deleted 06 with 170k miles, it’s priced pretty cheap. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a blemish on the carfax, but it seems cheap enough.

I've wanted a Land Cruiser since I helped push one out of the mud in Nepal way back in '86 so when I got the chance I bought this 2000 LC from my 80 year old father-in-law (who babied it) in '16, thinking I'd take it up to the UP and have some fun in the mud. I added the big tires and winch but only went up there twice -- it takes too much time and gas and I didn't like what the brush did to the clear coat nor what the ground did to the running boards; besides, I get enough excitement driving around in the snow. I love the vehicle and had planned to keep it forever (hence the FSM) but . . . I am upgrading to a 200. I'll keep that forever.

Looking into purchasing my first LX470. I found a 2000 LX 470 near me for sale which has 193k miles. Overall, the body looks really clean and so does the interior. The only upgrades I can see that were added is a touch screen system and a back up camera. I'm hopefully going to check it out in person on Monday I'm just trying to get a feel on here if it is a decent deal. I spoke with the dealer and he says it has no rust on the body, has no lights on dash, and is not leaking any fluids. He does not know when the last time the timing belt/water pump was replaced. 1999 Toyota Landcruiser (I am the 2nd owner) and have owned it since 2007. It had roughly 67k miles when I bought it, and I am still just under 150k (149,650 and counting). It has the rear AC, and factory electronic rear locker. All around, mechanically, she’s very good, I wouldn’t hesitate to jump in and drive across the country, except the fact that she is very thirsty. The body has some trail damage, but looks good from ‘20 feet away. She definitely turns heads. This will continue to get updated as I go through my garage and get a better handle of spares I have.
