Clean title.
The bad: It does crank over, but I cannot get the stupid thing to start. I am getting a "B2796 code: No Communication In Immobilizer System.” I replaced the key antenna, amplifier, and ECU, without any luck. The immobilizer light is not flashing as well. The locksmith who came out also said the antenna is not getting power and I tried to trace out the wiring, but have not been able to figure out where the issue is. This is why I am selling. It will come with both ECU’s and old immobilizer parts.
The pics are also a bit older and do not show a ding on the rear left, and a dent in the tailgate where my wife backed into a pole. I’ll add pics that show those details leter this evening.

Be forewarned. This is an amazing deal if true but unfortunately, it is not. I saw it in person and it's not a bad rig, but odomoter is rolled back, 3 owners and multiple accidents. Seller claims it has 62k miles on it but really its 260K miles. I also believe the carfax and Lexus of Marin documents may be false. Just warning my fellow Mudders.

This is our current backup adventure vehicle and also my occasional commute vehicle, so a mix of about 95% pavement, 5% easy dirt Forest Service roads. I'm at least the third owner of this vehicle. It was stock when I purchased it in 2016 with 128,000 miles.
The current odometer reading of 193,000 is 5 -10% high due to regear.
Vehicle is mechanically sound and built for off-roading, er... excuse me, overlanding, which is how I've used it.

Blew my head-gasket last weekend. I am the third owner of this car and have maintenance records back to the first oil change done. Bought back in 2016 as my first car and it got me to post-grad. Has been mostly in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Florida (only a year). I am late to the idea of owning a series 100 Lexus lx470. Dr buddy has one he may sell me if I want it. It’s an 06 with 288k miles on it. He says fully serviced. The idea is that I can use it as a tow car behind my 40’ diesel motorhome. Coach is white as is the lx470. Am I crazy to consider this?

Bought this 1 year ago from an IH8MUD forum member. It’s in great shape for its age and mileage, but by no means is it perfect. I am selling to move on to a 392 Jeep. I have an inch-thick folder of meticulous records from the previous owner. Hello all, hope this post isn’t too annoying to see on here all the time! I’m new to off-roading in general, close to pulling the trigger on a 1999 Lexus LX470. Truck has 150k miles, clean title, timing belt done at 100k. Owner is asking 13k, hoping to get it for 10-11. I understand that’s a bit higher than some examples but it is in pretty good shape. Would that be fair?
My other question is dealing with the fact that this model has the limited slip differential and no A-TRAC. Obviously nothing beats lockers, but would the limited slip diff be adequate for most hairy situations with the right tires? Say mud/snow? Appreciate any insight that can be provided, thank you!
$17,900. 2nd owner bought in 2004. Recent service with oil change (synthetic), new battery and radiator flush. 1500 miles ago new tires, brakes and AHC removed. Needs windshield and driver seat leather. Sunroof works sometimes. Recent smog. Bruise on front bumper. Rear seat and third row seats like new. 149,900 miles no accidents no rust!
Here is my 2001 LC100, mostly stock, owned since 2018 with a handful of minor upgrades. Full TB/WP service performed by a local shop with all OE parts in Spring 2022.
New shocks in 2021, OE Toyota. New Springs in 2022, OME 2865 (half inch lift and a bit higher weight rating than stock). Tires: BFG KO2 285/75 R16 in 2018, only driven 15k miles since then. These have performed very well for me in snow and moderate offroading. Full set of 5 with great tread. X2 Power dual-Purpose AGM battery with battery tender if you're like me and don't drive it enough. Custom rack using Gamiviti towers and extruded aluminum from TNUTZ. My handmade fairing is kinda meh though, it flaps in the wind and needs some additional tweaking.

I'm the second owner, purchased in 2017 with 220K miles on it. First owner was insurance agent and put lots of highway miles on it; it's been a daily driver for me for 6 years with no real offroading. I have a new car and can't justify keeping two cars. It's been garaged the whole time I've owned it until May of this year.
For what it's worth, every time I bring it to a mechanic for PM they say it's in fantastic shape and well taken care of. Runs wonderfully with no problems. I love this Land Cruiser and hope that in 20 years I don't regret selling it now.
