Selling my half-finished project Landcruiser. It’s been a reliable car for me, and I love it: but having three cars right now isn’t a good option for us. No rust. Since purchase in 2019, I’ve replaced the following:

2004 Landcruiser I purchased in 2018 by a 1 owner Family in Virginia Beach. Asking $11,500. 273,500 miles. I have added approx. 45,000 miles as a daily driver in North Florida. The Truck has been repainted in October 2022 in its original Thunder Cloud Metallic and complimented by the Grey leather interior and powered by a 4.7 liter V8, 5 speed Transmission and dual range transfer case. ‘99 Toyota Land Cruiser with only 141k miles (Price: $12,500). A beautiful rig that I’m sad to get rid of. Only selling due to practical family reasons. It’s a great truck with low miles. I’m the second owner. It has four brand new tires bought this past winter. Timing belt and water pump were changed 6k miles ago. Carfax is available, if interested. There is typical surface rust but with a solid frame. Only part it needs is an A/C condenser ($300 part). I put in a brand new pioneer radio and have kept up religiously with the maintenance (receipts included). I’m open to negotiation.

I am looking at buying a 2005 Land Cruiser 100 that is just below 150 000 miles. All service done at Toyota. Since I am unable to inspect the vehicle on site the dealer agreed to film a few clips. The dealer filmed a 5-minute-long clip of the frame, body and engine bay to show the amount of rust. To avoid boring you to death I took a few stills from the clips and hope for your assessment.
The fuel tank skid plate is said to be the worst part when it comes to rust.
Dealer said he was planning on keeping this car for his own private use but managed to buy a Tundra instead. He has owned several LC 100 and he seems to know what he is talking about.

Requirements:
- Clean title
- At least 98% rust free!
- Must be an early model (pre-facelift, no updated radio/interior) 100 series, 1998-2002 model year.
- Exterior paint color: no gold, beige, tan, or white please!
Wants:
- Preferably a Land Cruiser (simply for the front end look), but I will consider LX470s if all other requirements are met.
- Rear diff lock (not a deal breaker, but would be nice)
- Mostly stock (wheels and tires are okay, prefer stock bumpers, minimal aftermarket lights/electronics/wiring)

RHD JDM import. Extremely rare HDJ101 turbo diesel with the legendary 1HDFTE 4.2L inline 6 intercooled engine. This is the first year Toyota went full electronic injection and is cable of making a ton of power with off the shelf tune. A442F auto transmission, aka “the bus” since it was used in the Toyota Coaster minibus. 4wd, 2 speed transfer case with center diff lock.
Exterior: it’s stunningly beautiful and shiny. Minor imperfections (see pix above windshield). PO undercoated the undercarriage and I do see signs of surface rust (happy to provide close up shots) but its in great shape overall...

You guys know the drill. Looking for a clean, rust free, accident free 100 (cruiser or lexus). I’ve owned several cruisers over the past couple of years and sold them for various reasons. 60, 62, 80 and (2) 100’s so am pretty familiar with most of them.
I’m now back in the game and looking for a stock-as-possible 100 series (or 470) for my daughter. Rust free, timing belt done, etc.
Would prefer a lifecycle refresh 5 speed but really am more concerned with condition so happy to look at an earlier truck (99 - 02)
Would prefer 150,000 miles or less but know these trucks when maintained can run for far longer so feel free to send me what you got. The closer to NC the better.
