I bought this in 2008 with roughly 73K miles. It now has 343K. I have had in serviced regularly and have always run synthetic lubricants. Runs and drives great. Pretty much stock other than custom stereo and trailer brakes. Not a lot of towing, put the brake controller on recently to tow a lightweight travel trailer. I would drive it across country tomorrow. Out of my price range, but if someone is looking for a 1 owner, rust free truck this is a good candidate.
I’ve been reading this site for a while but this is my first post. I’ve found a 06 lx 470 with good mileage and it has been maintained throughout life at Lexus dealership... my only concern is that it was in an accident 5-6 years back( it was a minor accident per the Lexus maintenance records but it was to the left front end). The price is good and I was wondering from people with more experience than me if there are any reservations? Thanks

After going through all the work to bring this truck back to life, I realize I prefer the 5sp vs the 4sp. Here’s the details:
2001 LC with 218k
Previously a NC truck with NONE of the DC/Md rust I’ve seen on a few other 100’s I’ve seen lately. Had a full baseline done by LC Heaven in Hagerstown. Yes, he may take a while on parts but he and his guys worked miracles getting it ready for a trip to the Outerbanks. They were impressed with the condition of the truck. List of work performed:
TB/WP
All 3 idler pulleys
Fuel/air/Oil filter
New tie rod ends
Brakes all the way around
Fixed a loose parking brake cable
Heater Tees
Transmission/axle check
Had the alignment and new VA state inspection...
Here's the rundown on this car;
I purchased it from my boss (our president) last April after drooling over it for 7 years. He owned it from 2011 and 84000 miles to April 2018 and 145000 miles. He purchased it from the owner of the Lexus dealership in Bernie, as it was the owner's personal car (a friend of his set the two of them up). 2002 Toyota Landcruiser, 175,000 miles---solid condition for age. Runs great, air blows cold, leather in good shape, everything works as it should. Apple car play stereo with back up camera, new front speakers, almost brand new Nitto mud tires (285-70-R16). I have been the owner since early 2014 to replace my 2004 Tundra DC that was wrecked. Since purchased I have put relatively few miles on it. It was purchased with ~ 169K on the clock; now has 186K. Color is: Rock River Green Mica (Grey).
Overall I have baselined all fluids and fixed what was needed.
Standard Lexus equipment; sunroof, actual wood trim, roof rack, leather. Power everything.
Have records for regular maintenance since my ownership as well as most part receipts. I have previous records from Lexus database. Have several previous owner records.

When I bought (September 2017) it had new tires and brakes - so tires and brakes have roughly 25,000 miles on them.
I’ve done simple maintenance such as on-time oil changes and greasing the drivetrain every 5k. Shampooed carpet and cleaned regularly. Leather condition with Lexol conditioner. I also changed out the Heater-T’s at 140K miles so they should last another 100k.

Saw this one online today. Local dealer is asking $25k, which seems a bit high even for CO, right? I’m new on the forum, so still getting my bearings. Carfax indicates it spent most of its life in Minn, which is concerning. No undercarriage photos. I’ll probably try to go look at it tomorrow.
