Well at $86 I can guarantee it’s not a genuine Toyota part. It’s probably a Chinese knock off so it actually may exist if you took the time to check it out.

I don’t need to check it out. The part is gone… it’s been gone for years.

It’s not a knock off. It’s vaporware. Order it. And they will come back and tell you “sorry, it’s not available.”

84820-60020 is the correct part number but I think OGBeno is probably right. The part is discontinued. I've ordered things in the past but later on you get that disappointing email saying they can't get it. I'll buy one and see what happens. 🤞

Be Forward sells used parts too.
I had them price a used mini truck door.
The cost was okay, shipping was astronomically high.

This is the email I used for communications.

Hello,

Using a part from a newer model RHD 70 Series may work for a few cycles, until the extra current fries the circuit.

I wonder if it is possible to replace the switch with a part from a newer truck, while using the rest of the assembly.

Good idea Juan. There has to be a solution. I’m kinda frustrated with this whole situation. I’m surprised there is no replacement part. WTF?!

Hello,

Toyota stopped using 24V electrics in JDM 70 Series trucks after 1999. I guess they produced 24V parts for a while and later discontinued them.

Hope the switch swap option works.

Possible replacement switch? It looks like it would work but I'm not sure. This part has a 8 pin connector and mine has a 10 pin connector. 84820-10090 YAOPEI 84820-10090 Front Right Electric Window Switch Lifter for Toyota Hilux Hiace YARIS Land Cruiser 8482010090 RHD FR - AliExpress 34 - https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005005569989712.html

Hello,

A cheap part indeed.

It may be useful as a switch donor. Let cannibalization begin.

Chances are the switch will last enough under the extra current flow.

Hello,

Some 24V controls use a 10-pin connector.

This is the connector pinup for both 12V and 24V.
