I have a 1999 Toyota Landcruiser with 268,400 miles it is currently my daily driver. Asking 8,000.
Before I purchased it it was single family owned (father passed down to son). It has never been off-road and is completely stock. The previous family had the vehicle meticulously maintained at the Toyota dealership and a local mechanic and I have the maintenance records. This vehicle has lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and currently in Austin, Texas. Everything minus the key fob works, sunroof etc.

I am currently in the market for a LC100 and came across this one listed. Clean Carfax, looks like 2 actual owners is in the ballpark of 150k miles (not listed). They want $21k. But, when reaching out to the dealership about it, talked to Renee and she said “They are not selling now, unless you want to add about a $7k repair bill to price.” I was pretty floored. I asked for an explanation and said they are pulling it from being on sale, too much work is needed to it, that they didn’t find before and that yes, if I am interested it would be $28k out the door.
Wanted to pass along in case others come across this listing as yes, it’s still on their website for $21k

I purchased this 2000 in El Paso, TX in 2014 with 146k miles. It spent the first 15 years there. Then we had it in south central Missouri for four years and I relocated to Kansas this past summer. I am the third owner. It is a May of 2000 build date. My minimum 65 mile a day commute is just stupid to keep using so much gas and so many miles, I need a forth car like I need a forth child, so old crusty is hopefully going to find a new home, and I'm going to get another TDI to drive, and am keeping my LX570.

I am the second owner, purchased from first owned at 90K miles when living in Bozeman, MT. I have used as a daily driver for last 4 years. Like most LCs, there has not been any major issues.
