Overall in great shape, mechanically sound. Just got serviced (oil change) and inspected for safety and emissions, no Mechanical issues.
AC does not work and needs repair! Rear DVD has been disconnected so does not work (kids use their devices anyway these days). Tires in great shape. If you can repair AC on your own, have a mechanic friend, or don't need AC, then this is a great truck for you.
This vehicle is notorious for having to repair/replace the AHC Hydraulic suspension at some point - no worries, this one has already been converted to land cruiser suspension so you won't have to worry about AHC!

So I am new to the 100 scene but not new to Cruisers. I currently own 95 FZJ80 that I mostly do light off roading with. We currently own a 2014 Taco access cab that I use for trips and towing a small Casita RV trailer that weighs about 2500 pounds. I was looking at a 4Runner as a possible replacement for the Taco but I just dont think I would be happy with a Runner. The Taco is a great truck that tows our trailer well but is really limited in cabin space. I came across a 99 LX local here that is in very nice condition. Everything works as it should. He has a lot of maintenance records including timing belt and water pump replacement a couple of years ago with Tstat and cam and front crank seals and idler pullies replaced...

Selling our 2001 LX470 which we have owned for 7 years. We recently purchased a 200 series for her and 4 cruisers in the driveway is somehow looked down upon so one has to go. Today I finished doing the 90k service as well as 2 weeks ago doing the rest of the fluids (see below). As long as we have had the cruiser it has been garage kept. The 3rd row seats have only been used by us twice and will come with the car. The car has tint all around from the previous owner and I have no idea what it is but makes it much more comfortable than stock. I will also include the original head unit (currently has a Sony Carplay unit with the TTY adapter) and any spare parts from the TB work. Below is a quick synopsis of what we have done for service...

Very Clean 2005 (one owner previous to me recently purchasing) Lexus LX470. Loaded with Levinson Sound, back up camera, third row, etc. only 165k miles. Regretfully, probably, selling this gem to pursue my heart's desire for a black garnet on grey example. Bought this thinking I could settle with the tan interior. I'm new around here after being a visitor for a while (let me know if I am doing something wrong) and looking to get my first LC!
I have settled on looking for a 2000/2001 Land Cruiser with under 280k miles for under $9k somewhere within 500 miles of San Francisco and could use any tips for finding one.
I am primarily looking to overland with my significant other and decided on the 2000/2001 based on people saying they are more comfortable and safer than the 80 series. Let me know if you think I should be looking for lower miles or if a 2000/2001 is too old. I am mechanically inclined and don't mind doing most of my own work, but I am not looking to rebuild an entire car or take on too much of a project.

Well it’s back on the market. Listed it a while back but my wife decided she didn’t want to sell. Things have changed and it’s time to get rid of it. Since listing it last a few upgrades have been made. The truck is still near perfect. No dents or dings anywhere. The only place in the paint is still on the passenger side of the rear bumper where a previous owner bumped into something just enough to spider the paint. But all the paint is still there. For sale: An amazing 1999 Lexus LX470. I have owned this car for 5 years and absolutely loved it, but all good things must come to an end, and I don’t need an SUV any longer. The leather is all intact, no rips or tears. It has never had an engine issue. The current floorboards are Weathertech, but I have the original carpet ones as well. Selling my 05 100 Series Land cruiser with only 169k miles. Water pump and T-belt maintenance was performed at 163k miles. Clean title, Clean carfax. New OEM floor mats, Battery, comes with 2 keys. New gas cap, None adjustable height control. Drove it to Missouri and back total of 2500 miles with no issues last week. It runs and drives great however its not perfect, its got its issues for being a high mileage 15 year old car. AC doesn't want to stay cold, power steering is leaking.
