Good day members, please assist. I need to disable manually the Auto tilt/telescopic steering function. I do not want the steering column move in/out/down /up when starting the Cruiser 100 VX 24 Valve , 1HD FET 4.2 TD ???

I do not have a electronic device to plug in and disable it , I want to do it manually.. I really would appreciate this very much if some one is able to explain to me how to do it.

I'm not aware of any way to manually disable the auto tilt/tele without disabling the system completely.

Have it set to where you want and unplug stuff as has been previously mentioned but if you want to adjust it again that would be annoying if you share the car with other people.

I would suggest buying the cable and running Techstream as it's only like $20 for a cable and maybe max $100 for an old beater laptop.

Thank you kindly , your advice is much appreciated. Fortunately I do not allow any person/family member to drive my Land Cruiser. So unplugging the switch of the auto tilt motor will be a good option.

I'm not sure on a LC but on my 99 LX , I just pulled the fuse for that ECU. You can still use the switch on the column to adjust the tilt and tele but it doesn't move automatically.
