I thought this is a super nice one until i see right side frame conditions. My 02 got some rust being from Michigan but I think she was saved just in time now that she’s in S Cal. I occasionally replaced hardwares, sway bar mounts, spare tire mount, recently replaced the fuel tank shield and skid plate, more cosmetic than functional. Little by little she’s looking pretty good, ride is rock solid. But this one is in such great condition just any thoughts she may be saved? Question is whether the frame is too far gone to be considered repairable? And whether a qualified frame shop may be able to extend the life of the frame before completely compromised? Hi everyone - I'm considering selling a LC I inherited from my Mom a couple of years ago. I'm not sure how to value it and would appreciate any feedback. It has 120,000 miles and was purchased 6 months old in 1999 from a family friend. It sat in a covered driveway for about 6 years at my Mom's house. I recently picked this FJ up on a trade for a sports car. I've driven it local for a few months but don't really have a use for it vs my truck, and it takes up driveway space. Previous owner made multiple trips to CO and back in it and I experienced no issues in my short time with it.
It does have the rear factory locker. I do not have any records of the maintenance on it, but was told that the timing chain was replaced @~200k-220k miles and an even more recent ABS module replacement with OEM parts. I just replaced the drivers side CV shaft as the boot had just torn and started to leak.

All up to date on Maintanance. Timing belt changed at 103k. All Maintanance done at Lexus/Toyota. Just did all brakes. Comes with extra pair of original wheels with brand new Tires. Currently it has 285/75/16 on SCS wheels with original suspension. Only thing it needs is exhaust manifold fix on the driver side. I just put a whole new exhaust line. No work needed and is in good condition.
