I don't have electric tilt steering either. It's a button next to the power mirror adjustment. I think it is tied to that. If the mirror isn't fully extended or locked into the folding mechanism the remote mirror adjustment doesn't work either.
I swapped over after I was an hpde instructor. The biggest problem was missed shifts because the drive line was moving around so much. On the new double clutch and dog boxes I doubt that's an issue. I did some rally racing to and we always used...
I can understand it perfectly. While braking downshifting and turning all the rubber stretching and compressing would move the shifter several inches. Respectfully, you've probably never really driven a car close to the limit. When you are right...
Poly only makes sense for road racing where you don't want random movements while you're right on the edge of traction. I have no idea why you would ever want them on a vehicle like a landcruiser.
Or import a 1999 or older RHD turbodiesel 100 series. I added an LRA sub tank and minimum ~1000 mile range. And it was <$24k shipped to my door with <60k miles.
Yeah but it's nice having 500 mile range instead of <250 mile range. If you can do your own maintenance the diesel is far and away better. If you're going gas just get a us spec.
