Check engine - P2445 secondary air injection common issue with the Toyota 4.7 V8 does not affect drivability. SAIS is only triggered on cold start for emissions. Clear the code and it will drive all day multiple stops no issues.

1999 Toyota 4Runner – 4WD Limited w/ Locking Rear Diff – Needs Engine Swap
Did a leak-down and compression test after lifting it, adding tires, etc… and unfortunately, she needs an engine swap. I just need something more reliable at this point in life (so I bought and built out a 2020 TRD Pro “Stormtrooper” instead, haha).
The 4Runner was starting and driving (with the risk of stalling) up until last week. It now makes a single, loud click when trying to start, which is likely due to a failing starter motor or solenoid — common on these and easy to replace. Most symptoms still point to low compression as the core issue, and the Magnuson supercharger is also installed but essentially shot.
