Selling my truck because I need resources for other projects. $3000 OBO.
Currently doesn't drive (see pictures) but has some highly desirable components that I'm hoping a true enthusiast scores...
...2 weeks ago, I hit an oil slick while driving and ended up hitting the wall of a building...
But the rare manual transmission and rear axle w/ factory locker are undamaged, and what I hope someone is gonna want to give new life to...
Chassis has ~320k miles; In January 2024 I swapped the entire engine (replaced with a used 3.4L 5vzfe with 75k miles) and clutch (custom kevlar unit built by 'Falcon Clutch Specialist' in NY) + pilot bearing. In June 2025, I changed the muffler (OEM Toyota), catalytic converter (high end unit to pass CA smog) and both front CV axles (OEM Toyota; driver side is still perfect....but passenger side will need to be rebooted and repacked with grease as it popped out after the collision when we were getting the truck off the tow bed). I also changed the clutch master and slave cylinders in August 2025 (OEM AISIN units).
Also will come with a lot of spare parts I kept during the engine swap, the '99+ dual cupholder center console', original hood (I had swapped to a knockoff unit with a scoop), tonneau cover, and factory roof rack (I had swapped to a custom one I built myself).
The right buyer could also probably convince me to part with the OEM hood scoop insert (which costs more than the replacement hood itself...), original CV axle shafts (I had kept to use as trail spares...one of which also needs rebooting and grease repacking), hard-to-find all-weather floormats, and the custom roof rack I built...
