I have a very good friend here in Atlanta that I think I may have talked into getting back into a Land Cruiser. He had a FJ62 for four years before becoming a Rover guy. He has a very nice Defender 90 that he would like to sell or trade. As far as trade, he is looking at 2006-2008 Land Cruiser/LX470 or GX470/GX460. It has never been wheeled hard...only forrest service roads, fire roads, easy trails, etc.

As many of you may have noticed in the past I'm on the hunt for a HJ47. Preferably a lefty. I have a 1973 Volvo P1800es that I have decided to sell her in part to facilitate the HJ47. These cars were rare and only built between 1972-1973. This one like its BJ42 Cruiser brother has had everything done. Engine, tranny, body/paint. New tires and stainless exhaust. Just want to get opinions on this fj found locally in omaha. Went to check out and drove. Priced at $1695. 260 on the dial.
Sat 1.5 yrs dash taken apart no stereo or speakers. Missing some switches. No maintenance record whatsoever.
What i found:
Driver side knuckle leaking. Figure on complete build, axel seals etc. Looks like never been done.
Needs new brakes all around.

Few exhaust leaks.
Slight oil leak, thinking oil pan gasket.
