I'm testing out a set of prototype bumpstops for Patrick at Perry Parts. These things are beefy and are expandable with extensions so you can tune your cush as desired. Here's a video showing the install on the rear of my 80. I'm not sure when they will be available so hit up Perry Parts if you are interested. FWIW, we use their Gen1 and Gen2 designs on most of our customer builds and personal vehicles and they work great and are affordable. Toyota - https://perryparts.com/pages/toyota

Unfortunately I couldn't test the squish. I put wheel spacers on and now I have to do some cutting to get the tire to tuck up into the wheel well for max travel and actually touch the bumpstop. lol

Watched the video yesterday looks very promising.

Any idea if/when these will be released? I have about 2" of lift on 35s and need some bumpstop extensions. I like the adjustability these offer.

I'll shoot Patrick a message and ask. With 35s you get a lot more tire tuck than I do so they should work great.

For the front offering from Perry parts, is there any advantage to doing the frame mount style versus the inside coil version? Ease of install for the frame mount version is one potential plus for the frame mount style.

Good question. I think the frame mount might get in the way if you have a sway bar disconnect. Not sure though, I remember seeing a thread pop up regarding that. Something I need to look into.

In case anyone is wondering...6 weeks until these are available to the public. I need bump stops prior to my trip so unfortunately I can't wait for these.

There was someone who had trouble with the LCP front swaybar disconnect and I believe timbren bumpstops. I'll order the product available on the website for now and see if I need the adjustable ones in the future. Will also see if I can make the axle mounted bumpstop work with a sway bar disconnect. Would be nice if I can avoid removing the shocks and springs for the in-coil mount.

Thanks for the intel!
