I did a quick search and found nothing, and maybe that's because this is a really stupid question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway.

I was thinking about big tires + winter chains. Setting the bump stops to ensure I can run chains would mean a pretty severe limitation on up-travel, but setting them up to maximize up-travel pretty much means chains couldn't be run. Then I thought about a winter/summer setup, with two different bump heights, which would solve the problem, but would be a mighty big PITA.

So, is there such a thing as a quick-change/adjustable height bump stop?

The frame mounted bumpstops are really easy to get to. You could swap them back and forth as needed w/o much hassle and wouldn't even have to remove the wheels. Depending on your tire size and rim offset, you might need to trim the flares a little bit to accomodate the chains. But that would be a one time affair.

You might check out this thread by @JWNissan. He was talking about adjustable bump stops from the Perry Company that are about to come out.

I'm testing out a set of prototype bumpstops for Patrick at Perry Parts. These things are beefy and are expandable with extensions so you can tune your cush as desired. Here's a video showing the install on the rear of my 80. I'm not sure when they will be available so hit up Perry Parts if you are interested. FWIW, we use their Gen1 and Gen2 designs on most of our customer builds and personal vehicles and they work great and are affordable. Toyota - https://perryparts.com/pages/toyota

Unfortunately I couldn't test the squish. I put wheel spacers on and now I have to do some cutting to get the tire to tuck up into the wheel well for max travel and actually touch the bumpstop. lol

The rear mounts for the US FZJ80 series are NLA. The rear mounts for the HDJ are the same parts.

You can get them from Dave Stedman, or any online parts store. If you order from the desert, you're in for a surprise.
