Well, I recently switched my daily driver to a veggie-oil mercedes coupe, and my dad wants to say bye bye to these 2 vehicles. I would love to keep at least one (the grey is mine) but I doubt I'd ever get around to doing anything as exciting as you folks could with it. Both the vehicles have been very well maintained, our mechanic consistently fixes and checks everything, and all records are available. Gold (or beige if you like) & Brown, 156k miles, in really great condition. This vehicle has led an easy life with plenty of more fun to be had, does not mind getting dirty at all (I remember getting it stuck in a lake bed not long after we first got it). I am putting up for sale a 98 LC w/ just over 250k on the clock. It is daily driven so that number will increase. I have owned the vehicle for just over 2 years, I purchased at 196k miles. The truck is maintained regularly , the oil changed at every 4k miles . The tires were placed around 4 months ago, Probably around 70% tread remaining. The vehicle runs and drives great. I have never had any problems with it whatsoever. I did hit a dear fall of 06 and had to have the right fender and light replaced. Other than that I know of no other accidents and carfax should reinforce that.There are no "check engine" lights or any other lights on. Wow what a kerfuffle.... YESTERDAY I bought a 1987 BJ74 which I thought was pretty good. It has almost nothing at all for rust, 92,000 ORIGINAL kilometeres, cable lockers, pto winch, etc. I brought it home only to have the little woman freak out and go over the top that that's not the one she was expecting. We've been looking at HDJ81s, and I suppose we got our lines crossed somehow even though I'm positive I got the go ahead on the 74 series. Anyways it's in good shape but isn't quite perfect. It has a small pong in the drivers door, and the clutch bearing chatters just a little (it's quite liveable) It has 5 BRAND NEW Bridgestone Duellers and 5 new black spoke rims. From the pics you can't see if its go fr/rr diff locks, but they mention diff lock switch in the wordage... ARB front, snorkel, some sort of lift, clear corner lenses... They're asking $5995. Rust free low mileage 60 in northeast PA

Selling the FJ60 I bought only two months ago. I bought it on a whim cause it was a good deal and I thought my daughter would drive it. I was wrong. To complicate matters I just bought a BJ70 so I need to thin out the collection- my 78 FJ40 is also gonna be for sale. This is my would be project never got around to finishing, and I would rather spend money on my cruisers:) anyway it has a 350 engine with the 4 speed granny, a spicer 20 transfer new suspension and body mounts as well as a rebuilt rear drive shaft. The only option it offers is a roll bar and ps, and of course the removable top we all love. It is in so cal at a storage unit so I can show it or if there is any particular pic you want of it I can send it to you. Wanted: 40, 60, or 70 Series.

I know that's quite a broad spectrum and the 70 series wish might be a bit high, but I figured I'd join Mud to help ease my search for a decent truck. I'm quite picky and I would purchase a truck if I felt the deal was right and the seller willing to help with shipping the vehicle to Hawai`i (not the cost, that would just be plain torturous just getting vehicle to the docks etc.). The vehicle also isn't an immediate need, just something for when I get back home in September. Personal preference would be stock or mostly stock. I'll even consider buying a used diesel canadian cruiser (BJ60/HJ60, BJ70 or even the 75s used in the mines) if I can contact the local importer and get it imported and registered for a decently reasonable fee...
