If you get up early enough, you can catch them before the sun rises and see the 5000 watts worth of dip**** lights they have illuminating their trash lifts as they drive down the tollway at 95mph.good point. i’ve been in irving all week and do notice quite a few of those
Since the surge in diesel i am getting a lot less aggressive passes on my way home.If you get up early enough, you can catch them before the sun rises and see the 5000 watts worth of dip**** lights they have illuminating their trash lifts as they drive down the tollway at 95mph.
I’m lifted on FOX performance elite and my side steps still exist. I also tow a boat, but must only be to the mall…i see toyota trucks lifted on kings or 8100s, but keep their stock side steps and not a single skid plate other than factory. that level mall crawling should be criminal.
No reason to remove the single use sliders until you use them to pivot on a rock.I’m lifted on FOX performance elite and my side steps still exist. I also tow a boat, but must only be to the mall…
I don’t really play in the rocks in the northern Midwest. Unfortunately it’s mostly mud and deep rutted trails from SXS.No reason to remove the single use sliders until you use them to pivot on a rock.

I feel that. The first few years of ownership.my GX was mainly wheeled on Iowa Farm roads. I wore down paint on my arb skids but hadn't dented them yet.I don’t really play in the rocks in the northern Midwest. Unfortunately it’s mostly mud and deep rutted trails from SXS.
Do it! Literally took 15 seconds with the sawzall.I’m about to make the same cut.
On one of the pages, having TPMS Tire pressure and tire temp is not a bad idea. Newer GXs have this monitoring in the dash, mine does not.Got my OBDLink to work properly. Now just building up the dashboard. What else should I add?View attachment 4132522
This is how I have mine. I have a clock superimposed over the compass since my center console clock is sometimes hard to see at a glance, especially when the sun is on it. I don't need it, but I kinda like the radial dial for the speedo along with the digital display just below it. It's a cool option.Got my OBDLink to work properly. Now just building up the dashboard. I have that set up on another dashboard. I wish it was able to display with everything else.On one of the pages, having TPMS Tire pressure and tire temp is not a bad idea. Newer GXs have this monitoring in the dash, mine does not.
That’s a sweet setup. I like the compass colors. I’m taking note. This is how I have mine. White Rim is a gorgeous trail. Camping out there under the stars is amazing. I did it in May, not July. I have been to Moab in July and it is quite hot (yeah a dry heat). BUT, it is worth noting that soon after the sun sets the temperature drops 20 degrees or so. Up to you if that works for you. Make sure your food is in hard containers as the kangaroo rats will get into any soft containers/bags overnight. They were hopping all around us in the dark.Any tips on doing White Rim Trail in the middle of July, other than "don't". it's the only time I can go and regretted the last time I had the opportunity, but skipped it due to heat. Besides tons of water, shade, fridge/freezer, what else is needed to make it bearable?
also- can make gx with 1.5” lift and 31.5s make it to top of the world trail? it has sliders, all the skids, bumper chop. View attachment 4133054
I have the switch for my ARB under the hood, bolted to the airbox. The air chuck is already under the hood, so no need for the switch to be in the cabin.
