4500 is pretty much 1 step below 4400 . 4600 is the stock class
It started off that way, but 4800 cars are faster than most 4500, I think the 4500 class is dying out looking at entrys but I have not raced in 5 years.

Honestly there is not alot different between 4500 and 4800. i could go full Hydro steering and just run single shock and go 4800. Both 4500 and 4800 have unlimited engine . 4500 can run dual shocks 4800 single 4500 must have mechanical steering so Hydro assist 4800 i can run full Hydro

That about sums it up. I have a 4500 car. #4573

So last time out I actually cracked my t - case . The old skid was actually bolted to the case 🤦🏻‍♂️. For the dirt roads I plan on going on that was not going to work . So I talked it over with the design team and she came up with a plan 🤔😄 now we have a legit skid that we can park the truck on and not worry about cracking another t-case .

Was the old one the FROR style? If so I’ve always wondered how well those actually held up over time.

Um, a skid plate mounted to an aluminum housing or mounted to what it is supposed to protect is , well, stupid.
Thanks you just solved all my problems I can sleep better now
