I'm selling my 1988 4Runner that I've been restoring. It has a clean title that I have in hand. It has a two inch body lift with 33" x 12.5" BFG All Terrains.
It is metallic green with Bushwacker fenders. The engine, clutch and transmission are in excellent shape. There are no leaks or knocks. I also installed a Sony mp3 player.
My intensions were to SAS it and throw 37's on it, but my wife and I decided to go with ATVs instead. Thus, I'm willing to sell or trade for some ATVs or quads or one really good ATV. If you want to pay cash, I'm looking to get $3,500.

Title says it all! I'm looking for a 60 series with no rust to transform into a Diesel commuter. It has to be rust free, and no body damage. I have cash, and a trailer...
I prefer a dead one so I can feel better about parting the engine and transmission, because it won't be used (I have a 2H engine and H55F that will be installed)

Strongly prefer the dark gray color, with less than 150K -170K miles.
Northeast preferred (Philly), but willing to ship/move a no-rust vehicle.

The truck will be used as my daily and as my camping, fly fishing, occassional wheeling truck which is why a diesel is desired. 9 to 11 mpg blows for long trips. I am not that interested in a 40 as I often have 3 to 4 people with me and that would leave no room for gear and I'm not a fan of trailers on the trail. Not that interested in 4BT conversions as they are too loud and rattley for my tastes. I have a nice FSJ its a 72 Wagoneer has a rebuilt trans,new breaks,new exhaust w/flow master runs great no problems it is an A/C rig 6"lift 3"body lift has (5) 37x14.5x15 1 tire is brand new 4 tires on rig have about 85% tread has a 30 dana front a 35 or 40 rear needs front drive line 2 KC lights on front inside is stock and cherry, This rig will drive from Hornbrook ca to LA ca no prob.

Have been lurking for a while and have seen some trucks come close but not close enough. In 2003 I bought a 1990 FJ62 with 34k miles and had the guys at TLC in Van Nuys upgrade suspension, install cold air intake, and a few other mods. Sold the "bouncy car" as my kids called it in 2007. Looking to undertake similar project with 1995-97 FJ80 and would like to start with clean canvas on a low mileage truck and mostly urban history. Preferences: white exterior, lockers, ideally within 200 miles or so of LA.
Posting for a friend that is as anal retentive as I am. Silver with tan interior, third owner, all records, really babied, 165k, rebuilt birfields, new head gasket, recovered front seats, new windshield, OME shocks. EVERYTHING works as it should. Shines up really nice too. NO baselining required.
The pics were taken in a car lot, but it was there having the new windshield replaced. This is an individual sale, not a dealer.
He really wants a cash and carry deal. You need to see how nice this 80 is in person.

I bought my LC in non-running condition back in August.
Since then, i had the transmission replaced, the rust taken care of with rust stopper and and bed liner. The front bumper taken off, sand blasted and repainted with bed liner (it looks good!).
the only things i have to do is:
Recondition the rear TJM bumper; Sand blast and repaint.
Power steering pump leaks; ill probably fix it before it sells/traded.
Probably should have the belts replaced since it squeels every now and again.
The brakes need to be gone through. The PO said they were replaced not too long before i bought it, but i have this feeling the rear brakes dont work at all... again, this will probably be taken care of before the transaction.
