craigslist Is this really a '92?!

Was looking at local listings and found this ad:
1992 Toyota Land Cruiser

It says '92 and the VIN number checks out as '92 but the wheels look newer?! You guys know the features of these much better than I - what say you?!

I could swear that this same dealership was advertising this very same truck (same pics) as '93 not too long ago for a higher price

The truck looks pretty decent... the price could be better - just wondering if you think this really is the '92 - can't see the engine bay pic to confirm.

It is relatively easy to get wheels for later model Cruisers so it could be a '92 with later model wheels.

flares look like the wider '93 and later flares.

i had a '93 that was exactly the same color, cloth interior, wheels etc. it was built in '92 but was a '93 model.

is that $7995 on the window? that seems about $3500 to $4000 too much.

Unless someone has gone to the trouble of adding a lot of updates, it looks to be a 94.

Went to check out that truck today... the vehicle indeed is 1992 but that's not that vehicles photos!!! The friggin' dealer had posted pics of a '94 he had previously had on the lot to entice people to come see it... wasted my time... I'm done with dealers as of today.
