Wanted 4 Door Diesel Cruiser

Have a diesel Cruiser you want to sell? Drop me a line. I have a pretty good budget and want a diesel powered Cruiser with a manual (5 speed preferred). The truck will be used as my daily and as my camping, fly fishing, occassional wheeling truck which is why a diesel is desired. 9 to 11 mpg blows for long trips. I am not that interested in a 40 as I often have 3 to 4 people with me and that would leave no room for gear and I'm not a fan of trailers on the trail. Not that interested in 4BT conversions as they are too loud and rattley for my tastes. If you can convince me otherwise, I might be interested. 65 on the highway is a must and I wouldn't mind starting with something already modified (lift, tires, etc...). I'm looking to start with a 4 door but a 3 door Troopy might work, depending on the truck itself. Huge plus if it has A/C (it gets hot here in Va). Even if it doesn't meet up with this exactly, I might be swayed. Hopefully, there is something out there for me. Thanks.

I know I know dont want a 4bt or an auto but there is one just south of you in NC that is very nice. At least worth considering as your search continues. but its loud Just sayin, turn key rig and great seller.

You may even convince him to sell one of his "other" diesels which I believe has 2 doors, room for four, and a manual

I saw that but too many variables with a 4BT for me. Something with a factory diesel would be great.

you'll have a bit of a tricky time. Not common in the states so your going to pay a bunch.
Have you considered a 60. Romey has one for sale that is beautiful. Cleanest one I have ever seen.

Hey it's true Romey's rig is great with the 3B. I have an 86 hj60 with the 2h with the normal rust over the wheel wells. The other issue is that I'm in Barrie Ontario, not sure of your range. If you are interested PM me. If not good luck with your search. Regards

I have an '87 FJ60 that I am considering selling. But it has a 4bt. H55f, ARBs f/r, sprungover, easily do 65mph, 35' BFG ATs. etc,ect. Lots of new/rebuilt parts on engine...injectors, injection pump, water pump, alternator, starter. It has an air/air cooler and an intake heater. Rehabbed body and new paint. Interior in very nice condition. I have an fj62 seat back and head rests that I haven't yet installed...same with the rear shoulder belts. Sliders, arb front bumper and custom swing out rear bumper (Proffitts). Runs and drives great, but ends up just sitting in my garage. I have owned it since 1996.

i have a 1996 fzj80 I just got through converting to a 1hd-t drivetrain. BEBs replaced, A442F non electronic auto trans, factory swing out tire carrier, factory electric winch, factory clear corners, triple locked. also have the center console fridge and overhead altimeter and compass but havent installed those yet.
