Sold my 80 on here a while back but trying to get back into one.
I came across this truck not on here (which I thought was weird). Seller states he purchased last year bone stock from original owner, built it all up from stock and now is going a different route in life.
I'm my head I feel as though I've seen this truck a couple years back, but I'm also aware that there are hundreds of white 80's that look like this.
I'm just wondering if anyone in our community recognizes this truck and can vouch for the owner? Is he a member on here? I checked the build threads on here with no such luck. Seller seems to be very open and articulate with his information, but you never know. Its a long drive back from Oregon to California so I just want...

1997 Toyota Landcruiser
1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary FZJ80. This is a good base start for a very nice rig or daily driver. Has an Old Man Emu 3" lift shocks and steering damper. Have just gone through it and all works as it should. Seats work! Antenna works! AC works. All windows and door locks work. The interior is original and very clean with no torn worn out seat covers. Dash has no cracks. The tires are 35's but not in very good condition.
Paint clear coat is spawning on the hood and top area of the front fenders but this 80 has no rust on body of frame.
UPDATE: LC NOW HAS A NICE FRONT BUMPER - NEW PICS COMING SOON(as soon as it warms TFU).
The motor was replaced by Toyota with a used motor with a 150K on it at the time. That motor now has...

So the rig is a 1997 that just rolled over 170000 miles. I bought on 12/16/2004, with 82000 miles on it. I am the third owner. It still has the owners manual and window sticker, and i have a large folder of receipts and records for what I've done to it. For instance, I've changed the oil 22 times.
I've addressed all the usual mud issues over the years, like the PHH, the headgasket, etc.
7000 miles ago I pulled the head and had it rebuilt and then I installed a new Magnusson TRD supercharger. I also had RC engineering do an injector rebuild, installed new fuel filter, new Landtank Orange fan hub with the stock fan, new coolant hoses, etc. This mod more than anything else has improved the driveability of the unit. It has power that now...

Live in Atlanta, GA. Looking for a FJ80, FZJ80 or the Lexus versions anywhere close by. Own a '88 FJ62 right now and am looking for something with more power. That being said I would prefer a rig with an upgraded engine. However, would absolutely still consider anything that looks nice with low mileage. 1992 Toyota FJ80 Land Cruiser 6.0l Vortec Swap
southern vehicle bought in Chattanooga. New tires. Factory and after market stereo included.260k miles no rust . New arb winch bumper (no winch).
Needs lots of love but the engine runs great and you won’t cry when you scratch it! I bought this rig in September to make a hunting vehicle and ended up losing the land lease to a paper mill :(. I drove it a couple hundred miles last week but other than that it’s just taking up garage space. it needs to go to a loving home where it can be bashed into trees and sunk in mud holes like the good lord intended. Runs and drives, but’s needs love.

ISO - wrecked or salvaged 80. (West Coast)
I own a '93 FZJ80 that is clean with no body damage. I was going to cut it up for a project, but just cannot bring myself to do that to a clean rig. So! I'd like to find something a bit rougher that doesn't have frame damage, but is otherwise not worth fixing. Any area from behind the driver door back can be squashed, crashed, rusted or stripped as it will be removed and the frame lengthened for a rad conversion.
It needs to be on a rolling chassis and running, mods or no mods, doesn't matter.
If modded, will consider a trade or partial trade for my '93 that's locked and totally stock.
My rig has faded paint, but that's the worst of it. It's smogged, current reg, no leaks, rebuilt front...
After a little over a year of ownership of my White Whale, it's time to move on to something newer specifically a 100 series. I absolutely love this thing, but as I find myself doing more long distance travel, often in steep mountain terrain, I would really like a bit more freeway driveability and power

I'm about to sell this.. didn't plan too but life changes... it is a one owner 1996 LX450 white with tan, about 121k one owner miles, always dealer serviced, never off road, very well maintained cost was never an issue, owner spent half the year out of the country so this truck really never saw winters... not that we even have winters in Memphis, TN. I have ordered new leather for the front... the seat bottoms are cracking and since it is the only real flaw on the truck I'm replacing it, zero rust, zero signs of rust, few if any door dings or dents... I have not yet researched the current value but if you are looking for a really nice low mile rust free dealer maintained lx450 this might fit your needs...
