I've owned this FJ62 for a little over a year. I was going to put it in storage while relocating for work; however, I've decided on selling the vehicle and letting someone else see it through. Although the truck runs strong, I never had plates put on it due to living in a county with emissions testing. Except for the past two months, it’s been garage kept. Truck is in good overall shape, and mechanically sorted, it currently has 328,4XX miles. It was my daily driver for the past 3 years and was always maintained to be driven constantly. I have $6000+ of receipts from the past 3 years of my ownership, and it needs nothing at the moment. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across the country. It's been a California truck its whole life, and is wearing its original paint beyond a rough right rear quarter. selling my red with white top fj62, its a project. runs and drives but has rust and plenty of rot in the usual places. tires, exhaust, o2 sensors, brakes and master window switch are 2 years old (when I took it off the road. was my wife truck as a running project but we separated and I have no time or desire to restore it. This is the second Land Cruiser I have owned/ restored, and I am sad my time with this car is coming to an end. Really fun car to own and drive, with a spirit all its own. While this is a great car, it is 26 years old and it is not perfect, and will require an owner willing to keep up the maintenance. I hope the next owner will enjoy this car as much as I have. Well, the time has come, and I am selling my beloved FJ62. This truck has no rust and is in excellent condition. It lived its life in the very dry Palm Desert area and was taken care of from day one. This truck has been my daily driver for the last two years so it runs and drives great. I’ve put in lots and lots of maintenance which I have records of. It's got some rust on the right rear quarter panel but its not terrible. There is also some rust on the bottom of the tailgate. The frame has no rust. I had a leak in the roof that I finally tracked down to a small hole in the drip rail. It has been repaired and has been bone dry since. Here are some of the new parts I've put on recently.

My original trusty cruiser. Dad bought it in 2003, and mine since I turned 16. Its been in the midwest so there is rust underneath and on the rear wheel wells. Engine runs great, and I swapped transmission a couple of years ago and had the transfer case rebuilt (note: not a new transmission). It leaks oil and transmission fluid, and always has.
261k miles.
Interior is in great shape except for the carpet in the trunk which is torn up.

Birfs rebuilt 7k ago. ARB winch bumper, OME 3" heavy duty lift, BFGoodrich AT KO 33" tires, Mickey Thompson wheels, solid axles. Roof rack, rear bumper swing arm with spare tire carrier and ladder. Some rust in the usual places for the 60 series, but overall great condition. I hate to see this go, but I have to make room.
