Well, it looks like we've got to let our truck go. We love it, but we need to move on. It s a 1988 FJ62 w/ a small block V8 and a Turbo 400 transmission. It runs great and is a real joy to drive. As with any 30+ year old vehicle it has some problems, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. It bums us out to sell it. We're asking $22,500

The Good:
- Smooth running and powerful V8 mated to automatic Turbo 400 transmission w/ approx. 23,000 miles
- Old Man Emu Suspension (2015)
- Warn VR 8000 winch (on custom bumper)
- Updated Headlights with ARB wiring harness
- Generic Fogs Lights
- New Howell throttle body fuel injection w/ ECU
- New Electric Fans
- New Exhaust
- New radiator
- New Alternator
- New AC compressor w/ fresh recharge (Blows Cold!)
- New Serpentine belt
- New Sony XAV-AX1000 Stereo deck
- Pioneer Speakers
- New Stinger 4 post Battery
- New Professionally installed marine grade accessory fuse box
- 2" hitch receiver
- Cooper Discover RTX tires at about 85%
- Clean interior
- Custom Rubber Floor Mats (including cargo area) covering clean carpet
- Average MPG around 14
- Starter assembly and wiring harness replaced in 2015
- Window tint (2015)

The Bad:
- Power Windows need some work. Drivers window works great but the rest are finnicky
- Some minor paint and body imperfections (No through rust)
- Tachometer doesn't work (all other gauges work fine)
- Vinyl cracking on drivers seat

Additional Photos on request.

Thanks for looking

You might get more interest if you lower the price. Looks more like a 10-12,000 truck to be honest. Do some research on wagons selling for the same price range you are asking and you will see the difference.

Thanks for your input. We're not inflexible on the price and I understand what you're saying. but we're unable to go anywhere near $10,000. We've got too much money in it. While we don't expect to get every cent back, we still need to recoup some of our expenses.

I think we can all empathize with that, unfortunately that's not a consideration for potential buyers. @PortFJ62 isn't far off in his assessment. The best value for you might be keeping it and using it? if you have that kind of cash in to it. Tough to recoup that kind of outlay with even a popular engine swap like the 5.3. I wish you luck with it either way
