After careful consideration I've decided to part with my 60.
I'm not a Cruiser guy so I don't know too much about this truck but I kind of always wanted one so when presented with the opportunity to buy a rust free example I jumped on it without considering if I'd actually have time to get it up to snuff and on the road. This is defiantly a project but with no real rust issues you only really need to focus on mechanical and paint. Once it arrived I replaced the oil in the engine, diffs, tcase, and trans, replaced the plugs, and clutch master (it bleed out during transport). I've driven it around the neighborhood a few times but otherwise its been sitting in my driveway since November.

Selling a July of '85 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 for a customer. Very well maintained and cared for. Runs and drives great. Has the original carbureted 2F 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission and transfer case. Starts up on cold mornings and runs smoothly. The History of this FJ60 is as follows, the original owner purchased it new from Mike Calvert Toyota in Houston, Texas. He then moved to Florida in 1992 where he then drove it up until 2000. The vehicle was owned by 2 different individuals for around a year or less each. In 2003 the current owner purchased the FJ60 and only put around 10k miles on it over the last 17 years. It's a California-registered diesel Land Cruiser. It was converted to diesel back before it became virtually impossible to do so in California. It is also registered in Belize, and I have the Belizean title license plates, and import documentation.

It’s an Automatic.
It has two stuck valves and I cannot free them. I have the valve cover off and the rockers and they are all free and clear but two valves will not come loose. I have the spring and the retainer and keeper off, but the valve is too low for me to reassemble it. It probably needs a new or rebuilt head / engine. It is all original. It’s an automatic.
I just put in a new gas tank, fuel pump, fuel pump bracket, fuel filter, starter...

Hey all- for sale is my 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. Runs and drives great. Really clean with little to no rust. Sad to let it go but it's not my daily driver and I need to buy a new family vehicle.
I bought this a couple of years ago thinking I would have more time (and money) to work on it and do some upgrades but life got in the way, and as I'm pretty green with mechanical skills, anything I do takes way longer than it might for someone who knows what they're doing. As such, I end up paying others to do it which is....expensive to say the least. That and the fact we have a baby on the way means I need to get something a little more "safe" and practical.

I have a truck, bought in 2007 with the intentions of using with an Avion. I have NOT done any work on it. I know NOTHING about trucks, I just like the aesthetic of this truck and ENJOYED driving it around town esp in snow (soooo infrequent here in Atlanta GA).

It is in good condition considering year and fact that nothing has been done by myself - flaws in the interior as well as exterior - cracked dashboard, crack on windshield, little rust on top where water collects above windows. For sale 2nd owner, rust free and accident free, garage kept Arizona 1988 FJ62. I bought this LC about 17 years ago from the original owner who lived in Phoenix. It sat in my garage for about 10 years as I collected parts. Life and other projects seemed to always get in the way.
This FJ is stock original except for the LQ9 (LS) out of a 2005 Escalade that met a untimely demise with only 1500 (verified) miles on the engine. The transmission is a NEW (not rebuilt) '02 NV4500 that I stumbled upon. It attaches to the original split case TC that has all new TOYOTA gears, bearings and everything else.

Throwing this out there - have had this truck for a few years, driven it around the country, but now have moved on and it mostly stays parked. Previous owner did a multi year Mexico trip. It's probably not a great candidate if you want a perfect truck, but if you want something you dont have to worry about scratching, it fits the bill.
Driveline: Stock engine, new head and injectors by Scroggins Machine of Houston Texas. H55f swap by Iron Pig off road. New fan & clutch. Axles regeared to 4.56. Could use a tune up/going over, slight hesitation when cold, it has only driven 100 miles in past two years.
