All original 1979 Toyota FJ40. This truck spent its life in wine country and was used reliably until stored in a barn for about 25 years. It runs great, with all features and functions in full operating condition. Even the things that break and people ignore. Has the optional power brakes and power steering as well as the improved ratio for fourth gear, which became available in 1979. The body could use some work, with dents in both fenders and some rust in the rear, near the tail-lights, like many of these trucks. See the pictures. Only surface rust on the frame. You can drive this now, go for a full restoration, or do a rolling restoration if you chose.

Refurbished FJ40. Prior owner began off frame restoration and installed Chevy small block, switched to automatic trans, added power steering, added lift. I took over 6 years ago and finished with complete paint and body and new interior. Very little if any rust - solid and dependable and turns heads. 4WD not connected. Have driven less than 1000 miles in past 3 years - garaged.

Well kept FJ40. This FJ40 was refurbished approx. 10 years ago and has been driven very little since. Factory color matched Freeborn Red, Cygnus White and Hawaiian Blue original hubcaps and rims. It was undercoated by previous owner about five years ago and shows no dirt or signs of being driven. I am selling my original 1970 Toyota fj40 Landcruiser pre smog. I purchased it from a older gentleman who used it to go to the beach with his dog. It is all original except for the carb. It has the straight 6 F motor, three speed manual on the tree and 4wd. It does run well and fun ride around town. It was a snow plow vehicle in Colorado before and that explains the rust issues. The FJ40 is a really fun rig to drive around. It is a true 4WD vehicle and will climb anywhere you go. Folks give you the thumbs up in town too! helping a local guy out, I don't have a lot of info on this rig, he's owned it for a few years.
basically stock, 3 speed, drum brakes, fairly solid body, dents in hood and fenders, no hard top, I think there is an exhaust leak at the manifold, not much for seating, no gas tank, gas tank straps are there, dash pad isn't great, windshield frame may be bent back slightly, rust in rear sill, extra hole cut in driver floor board, brake booster leaks (engine rpm increases when pedal is applied), homemade rollbar which I probably wouldn't trust, soft doors are not great and not sure they are correct for a Landcruiser. rear seat not sure what it is from, it is not attached and just sitting in there.
