Took my 2011 LX to a reputable dealership here in Colorado for an alignment. I noticed on my old tires that the fronts were wearing on the inside. The caster is out of spec. They attempted to adjust the caster but found the right side LCA bolts seized. $1750 and they’d cut them out for me
. I declined, figured I can either do it myself or take it to my Indy.
My truck has been a Texas and Colorado truck its whole life so what’s the possibility they just didn’t give enough ugga-dugga to the bolts? Totally get that they may have been seized if it was a salt state truck but it really hasn’t been.
Also, how bad is this caster? 4.4 on the left and 4.5 on the right. Spec is 2.6 to 4.1. Truck drives well and I don’t have any real drive ability concerns right now but curious what the hive mind says. Thanks all.
