I am finally listing my 1975 FJ40 with a 327 Chevy swap for sale. The details of the project are all documented in my build thread which is listed below. It is not currently able to be driven due to clutch issues. It has a ton of new parts and work done last year. It has been stored indoors for the last year and started periodically to keep everything on the motor happy.
in a nutshell......it has the following....
all new seats with seat belts and reupholstered rear jump seats
Lizard skin sound and heat spray on the floors
all new steering pump, box, and tie rod ends
new tires, repainted wheels and new hubcaps
new tail light lenses and front turn signals
new front bumper
new shocks, all new leaf spring bushings and ubolts
new carburetor, distributor, exhaust manifolds and full exhaust
and lots of other things I don't remember at this time
no top or doors
body does have some previous owner bondo and some rust issues....the rear sill
Color is Sky blue. Was repainted at some time in the same color
Look thru the build thread for full details
Located in Phoenix with a clean title and priced to sell (I am gonna take a huge loss but it's gotta go) Asking $8000 obo
delivery possible within a reasonable distance

I picked up this 1975 FJ40 back in April. I was building my fake 45 at the time, so it went on the back burner. Now it's time to start my lazy guy style revival of this V8 swapped Cruiser.
When purchased, the top was off due to the non existent rusted drip rail. It had an awful 1/4 thick pipe roll bar and so other 1990's style crap. I removed that cage and some other stuff and rigged on the hardtop. Mostly to preserve everything. It came with some new oem and aftermarket parts and some newish 32" BFG muds.
Here's what we got...
