For sale is my June 1977 FJ40. I have done a lot of work to this rig to make it a great driver and have been daily driving it for the past 6 months without issue. It does have all the typical rust issues found on these vehicles with the rear sill being the worst. I have acquired a majority of the body parts needed to restore it if desired and they will go along with the vehicle. I had no plans of selling this and was planning to move onto the body work phase next but life happens. It does have a replacement 2F engine from a 1985 FJ60 installed by the previous owner. It has also been fully desmogged. A list of main work done by me is below:
Bilstein 5100 shocks all around
Rough Country springs all around
All new 555 steering components
OME steering stabilizer
New Toyota oil pan and gasket
4x4 Labs rear tire carrier
Warn 8274 on Manafre bumper
All differential, transfer case, and transmission oil changed
Rebuilt front knuckles and axles
New wheels and 33x10.5 KO2’s (5)
