This one looks really nice for the price! $6500
76 Toyota FJ40
Not affiliated, just saw the deal and thought I would share. Last time I did this I ended up with my second Land Cruiser, so someone PLEASE BUY THIS THING!!! He's even got the bezel on the right way! Stock floor mat alone is almost worth the price! :) Sure wish I had a big shop (eventually I will). And more money!

Hi everybody.
My name is Patrick , I recently moved to Stockton NJ and I am looking to buy a late FJ40 as original as possible .... ( not red or blue as my wife request )
I would like to be able to look at the truck if possible before buying but I am retired and can travel !
Price around 30K ( can go up to 40 for the right one )
Please let me know,
Thank you,
Patrick M.
I'm looking at this one. The guy says it was restored a while back at Coolcruisers, 3rd owner etc. Looks to be real clean. However, Nebula Green wasn't offered in '79, correct?
1979 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser
Hi everyone! I am helping a customer sell their truck so here it is.
1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, original motor & drivetrain with 76K original miles and lots of paperwork and past records. It has been in dry Wyoming all of its life. Everything has been gone through on the truck and it is in great running, driving and operating order. All of the lights, blinkers, etc., work.
I will be getting more pics later today and will post them when I get them. The truck is currently in Colstrip, Montana but they are able to bring it to my shop in Sheridan, Wyoming to help them sell it. I am easiest to reach with a phone call. 307.752.6033
I have cash in hand and I'm actively looking in all the usual places. Trying to find one in running / driving and in decent condition. Looking to stay in the 17k range. Thanks in advance--Mason
*Sale Pending*
It is with mixed emotions that I'm posting my Cruiser for sale. I want to move on to a new project, but can't without first opening up garage space.

Hey guys
Im looking to buy a diesel 40 series. Hoping to find one over the next few weeks/months.
Im not looking for a restoration project but a few things here and there are fine. Im also not looking for a fully restored car. Just due to $$$.
Some things i want:
SWB with a hardtop (these are both a must)
Preferably power steering and disk brakes (not a big issue if it doesnt have either)
No to little rust
Running with decent mechanicals
Im in Melbourne but im happy to travel australia wide for the right car.
As i said im serious about buying and have cash waiting, all i need now is the right 40.

Selling my much loved BJ40 Landcruiser 4 cylinder Diesel. It is imported from the Netherlands and is in excellent condition. Does not smoke, does not leak fluids, engine strong, 4 wheel drive transfer case works perfect. Cruiser is absolutely beautiful and runs perfect. Good Brakes, Good clutch, all gauges work. It has power brakes and a brand new clutch. The kick vents provide you with "natures" air conditioning. :) Clean Arizona title in my name. Well maintained BJ40 with 59k original Kilometers (about 37k miles) on the clock. It drives tight and has been mostly garaged since I bought it.
I have driven it all over and have been off-roading in it. It cruises fine at speeds up to 75 MPH (with installed BF Goodrich tires) and also comes...
'76 FJ40 with chev 283 and T350 transmission. Family heirloom, but it's time to let it go. Ran very well when I parked it about 4 years ago. It was restored in about 1994, but the bodywork wasn't done well, and now is rusted through almost every body panel. Tub is ok, but who knows what's under the diamond plate corner covers? $1500, but motivated to sell after divorce.
New fuel tank, rebuilt alternator, and rewired to fix some electrical problems about 4 years ago. No jump seats, has folding rear seat, but probably needs to be replaced due to weather. Needs a battery and most likely a tune up.
Trying to get some information on this 1976 FJ40 that was eBay recently. If you know anything about this truck please shoot me an email at overton@aol.com
Thanks,
G.
Toyota: Land Cruiser FJ40 1976
Hi crew,
Here is a 40 I just ran across. Looks like a potentially good deal. I am not affiliated, just wanted to pass on the findings.
cheers,
1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ - $2900

I'm looking to replace the FJ40 I sold 7 years ago. I would say it was a mistake but it helped get my girls through college. I would appreciate any leads. I prefer a "75" or newer. This is to be a project not a true restoration. I have set up alerts on CL. EBAY, Google, and visit BAT regularly.
I don't want to have more than 7-8K in the initial investment. I am not interested in purchasing a "trailer queen" / show car. I am not interested in a body that looks like it was used as the backstop for a turkey shoot. I am not interested in a 40 that has been modified and cut up to be a rock crawler. It needs to be driveable. It needs to be complete.
Thanks
