Hi everyone! I am helping a customer sell their truck so here it is. 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, original motor & drivetrain with 76K original miles and lots of paperwork and past records. It has been in dry Wyoming all of its life. Everything has been gone through on the truck and it is in great running, driving and operating order. All of the lights, blinkers, etc., work. I will be getting more pics later today and will post them when I get them. The truck is currently in Colstrip, Montana but they are able to bring it to my shop in Sheridan, Wyoming to help them sell it. I am easiest to reach with a phone call. 307.752.6033

Selling my much loved BJ40 Landcruiser 4 cylinder Diesel. It is imported from the Netherlands and is in excellent condition. Does not smoke, does not leak fluids, engine strong, 4 wheel drive transfer case works perfect. Cruiser is absolutely beautiful and runs perfect. Good Brakes, Good clutch, all gauges work. It has power brakes and a brand new clutch. The kick vents provide you with "natures" air conditioning. :) Clean Arizona title in my name. Well maintained BJ40 with 59k original Kilometers (about 37k miles) on the clock. It drives tight and has been mostly garaged since I bought it. I have driven it all over and have been off-roading in it. It cruises fine at speeds up to 75 MPH (with installed BF Goodrich tires) and also comes...
'76 FJ40 with chev 283 and T350 transmission. Family heirloom, but it's time to let it go. Ran very well when I parked it about 4 years ago. It was restored in about 1994, but the bodywork wasn't done well, and now is rusted through almost every body panel. Tub is ok, but who knows what's under the diamond plate corner covers? $1500, but motivated to sell after divorce. New fuel tank, rebuilt alternator, and rewired to fix some electrical problems about 4 years ago. No jump seats, has folding rear seat, but probably needs to be replaced due to weather. Needs a battery and most likely a tune up.
I'm looking to replace the FJ40 I sold 7 years ago. I would say it was a mistake but it helped get my girls through college. I would appreciate any leads. I prefer a "75" or newer. This is to be a project not a true restoration. I have set up alerts on CL. EBAY, Google, and visit BAT regularly. I don't want to have more than 7-8K in the initial investment. I am not interested in purchasing a "trailer queen" / show car. I am not interested in a body that looks like it was used as the backstop for a turkey shoot. I am not interested in a 40 that has been modified and cut up to be a rock crawler. It needs to be driveable. It needs to be complete. Thanks
