Day 3; Nothing too IH8MUD exciting, we headed to Bend and did some city sight seeing, got some food and drinks. Got a cheapo hotel for the night and headed home the next day to wrap up the 4 day trip.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to praise again the Land Cruiser for getting us through everything without any issues, safely.

This one hits right in the feels. After unloading landscaping bricks at home, we delivered our oldest to Clemson in the same 2000 Cruiser we drove home from the hospital when he was born. Cruisers have been a part of our life for a long time.

The front bumper is whatever crap the previous had on it. I’d prefer not to discuss the clearance between the body and the bumper particularly after using the winch 😂. Such is life. Gonna pull it off and see if I can modify some winch and bumper mounting. Hopefully I can start this evening, unfortunately getting quite hot in New England.

This HZJ105 in LHD flavor received its “residency” from the government today.

Pretty stoked to join the IH8mud community. I currently have a 2022 4Runner ORP, but decided to go back in time and trade it for a 2003 100. No car payment and a good chunk of change in my pocket. Picking up this beauty next week (originally was going to pick it up this week, but they are doing the timing belt/water pump service). Super clean and GREAT records on CarFax. The frame is also clean clean, probably better than my 4R.

My fun vehicle is a F80 M3 so no need for another quick vehicle. Just a slow CRUISER.
 
I just got back from a road trip with my 12 yr old son. We hit Hwy 1 in San Francisco and headed south. That was our only plan.

We saw the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, seals and otters at Moss Landing, Monterey Bay Aquarium, camping and hiking in Big Sur, elephant seals battling at San Simeon, Hearst Castle, and live music in SLO before heading back north. We had a great time with the LC!
