A few years ago I bought an FJ60 to go with our 77 FJ40. We ended up selling the 40 so my wife could get a "new" used van for the addition of a new child. My oldest daughter, whom the 40 was going to, still wants a 40 for her transportation. I bought the latest FJ60 for that reason, but the 40 is still pulling at her. I would be willing to trade my FJ60 for a comparable FJ40, would love for it to be sprung over, but not required. Hard top is a must as well as doors that work and a rig that doesn't leak. Would prefer the original carb and engine as well as ambulance doors over the earlier hatchback/tailgate.

I purchased the FJ40 from a gentleman up in Denver, he did the V8/brakes/lift/front seats/roll cage/winch, not sure where, all other mods/work was done by Red Line Land Cruisers last year. Has been stored in a garage the entire time, located in Colorado Springs (a few miles away from Red Line). 128k miles on the body, engine conversion was done about 90k.
The guy I bought it from was born in South Africa, moved to Los Angeles later in life, grew up with FJ’s and decided had to have one like the one he grew up with. I am chasing this firewall grommet for late model FJ40 suit all late model 4X. It is part of the main wiring loom both sides to the engine bay. I have bought a replacement from toyo4wd in AUS but wasn't good and after removing both sides I left with nothing but hot air from engine :))
The broken grommet is on the pic.

I have here a 1978 fj40 with 50000 original miles. It was babied all its life and rins like a charm. It has vintage air air condtioning and a am fm xm radio. It has original bucket seats and a full roll cage with four point simpson restraints. 20000 or best offer.

1973 FJ40. Mechanically super sound, starts without fail in all weather and runs great. Original "F" motor with 3 speed manual. 2" Skyjacker Lift, Warn winch, lockable console. Solid tub and frame. Racing seats with 4-point belts. Bought in California from a Cruiser specialist who refreshed all mechanicals, although speedo/odo not working. 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Pretty much untouched, all original. Starts great, runs strong. 1F inline six, three on the tree transmission. Hi/Lo range works good, 4x4 seems to engage. Split bench seat up front, long jump seats in the rear. New brake master cylinder, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, carb kit, hub caps.
Rear sill is rusted through, as is driver's floor pan (see photos). Seats need new upholstery. Headliner is starting to go.
