another project that needs to go. 1984 BJ42 imported from NZ, all paperwork is clear, titled and registered for the road, 100% legit. 3B diesel runs strong, 5-speed H55, full floating axles, LSD in rear. stock, unmolested. it is worth noting that this is an oddball aussie unit that came with drum brakes on the front, no roll bars or dash pads and a bench seat in the front. my guess is that it was some sort of fleet vehicle. it is also 12V, not 24V as many BJ42s are.
the good: radiator re-cored with a staggered 4-core, new brakes (drums, shoes, master/wheel cylinders, the works), engine burns oil but runs very well, transmission/transfer also runs strong, new fibreglass fenders, hella ECE headlamps with HID kit installed, new BF...
