It's a 66 FJ45 pickup. I know the owner. He's asking $8k which is a little steep. I saw it the other day. He fired it up and it sounds really smooth. The F was rebuilt by Toyota. It's got a Weber carb on it. PTO winch. Rust isn't too bad. Probably blast the bed and paint it. There is a hole in the tail gate.
I just can't do it. Kind of sick about it but I just don't need another project/money pit right now.

Looking for an excellent condition (willing to pay $$$, I don't have the time for restoration), low mile (100k or so) BJ42 with a 3B. Prefer a rig without rust, in perfect working order, pretty much stock though limited lifts and bigger wheels are ok, just nothing monster (32's or smaller).
My 1987 FJ60 is in good condition with 245k miles. Light silver ext., grey/blue int. (My fav combo). Recent valve adjust, K&N, Accel super coil, new Bosch Platinum plugs, Bosch 8 mm wires, 2.5" cat-back exhaust (Man-A-Fre). Engine runs fine, though not the smoothest idle, but is pretty strong on acceleration. 4 spd. tranny is starting to show its age--a little sticky, but functions well. T-case can pop out of gear on the trail. Truck...

I am not too picky about the cruiser except for price. I have a pretty low budget (around $3000). I know they'll be hard to find, but have seen them for this price..

This truck is an all metal restoration only new parts from Toyota and Cool Cruisers of Texas were used(built to look good and to last). PPG base coat clear paint was used inside and out with a minimum of 8 coats throughout. Stainless steel exterior hardware was used—it will never tarnish or rust.Five new BFG 31x 10.5 A.T. tires on new chrome American racing rims with new lugs nuts and caps. All the mechanicals are perfect operating condition, recent brakes/fuel injectors and exhaust system. This truck has been oil sprayed twice a year and never winter driven after being restored.The interior is in showroom condition-- no tears or cuts in the upholstery.
