Hello you guys, I am not that familiar with every cruiser but would the early gauge cluster be the same on the FJ45 as it is on the FJ40. If so,,,,,,,I am trying to find a working used factory TEMP GAUGE for my FJ40 ( 1967 and older ). Anyone selling one? Thanks and any suggestions where to find one would be great. I have checked SOR, PROFFITTS with no luck. FJFJFJ

I have a very rusty fj45 long bed land cruiser. The motor is in it and the trans. is out but I have it. The Motor did run but has not been started in a few years. The floor is shot in both that cab and the bed. The frame is shot with the rear section missing starting right above the rear wheels back. I have two tops rusted, spare collet, upper roof cab panel, and an extra set of doors. Every thing has a fare about of rust. The best part of the truck is the front quarters, hood, and grill. I picked this up as a very large project but don’t have the time and need to finish my other rigs first, just taking up space. I have the title and there is a vin plate under the hood. SOLD to the NEXT CRUISER NUT! HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Nice very rare land cruiser. Located in Portland Oregon. Legally imported from canada a few years ago, licensed, insured, and DEQed. This is a normal left hand drive. The really rare part of this cruiser is unlike most canadian cruiser there's almost no rust! Body off restore last summer cleaned of all rust and coated in POR15. The body tube, front grille, tailgate, wheels, fenders are all aluminum. Over $6000 worth of aluminum on here. The rest is steel and has a POR-15 base coat with black coat over that. Like I said a long shot but what the H*ll.
I'm thinking about selling my 2001.5 6speed Stage3 S4 and picking up a BJ42.
Perhaps someone has a 42 and feels like going a bit faster? A lot faster actually;)
The S4 is as nice as they get with low Kms. 450hp. (Blue one)

Just popped up today. Not mine.
It is time to move some toys. 1982 Toyota BJ42/44. It is essentially a bj42 on a bj44 frame. Just a little bit longer frame than the standard bj42. The guy that built this in Japan did this so he could attach a winch to the rear of the vehicle. (pretty smart if you ask me, most of the time I had rather winch backwards than forwards.) It is powered by the 3B Diesel engine that runs great. It is a 4 speed transmission. This is not a fast truck but it will go anywhere. Leafed over suspension, brand new HD Zeal BJ-44 leaf springs. 4.11 gears, HD high steer components, extended travel Bilsteins in the front, Ranchos in the rear, Fabbed front and rear bumpers. I am looking for a good truck. I am willing to trade my BJ42 for the right one. I figure I would try here first before ebay/craigslist due to some horrible experiences i've had there and it just seems easier to trade instead of selling and then buying.
1983 LHD BJ42 imported from Nicaragua (still has inspection stickers). Inspection/Registration current in Texas. No rust solid body. Pretty much all original except that I have replaced the suspension with an OME kit and a shackle reversal has been done on it. New rear brakes, new muffler, new front and rear signals, new seatbelts. new tires/wheels. Interior is in good shape. Mileage is 249K Kilometers, but I am not sure that is accurate since I had to replace the speedometer...
A cruiserhead friend of mine rebuilt this truck. He is meticulous with his work, very picky and extremely honest. I have seen this truck in a few stages of this build over the past year. Its a work of art and he completely undersells himself. This truck is worth every freaking penny and you will not find a cleaner one. Will not. He has done a few of these and knows what he is doing, this is not a butcher job.
Who ever buys this will be blown out of the water the first time they see it.
