'81 BJ44 Feeler in Ca
*SOLD* Bought this last fall and realizing I have too many trucks and too many projects right now. I'll let this one go if I can get what I have into it. If not, I don't mind keeping it. Its fun to drive and gets LOTS of attention. 1981 BJ44 RHD, JDM Spec. 140,000 KM (70,000 miles) 2B Diesel, AC, No power steering. Very complete and original. California registered and smog exempt. New OME springs, BFG KM's with 85%, rare OEM tumble rear bench seat Lots of spare parts. Has some rot in the usual places, but looks great from 10 feet away. Frame is solid. Restore or drive as is. A very rare truck! If serious send me a PM and I can send detailed pics. Asking $14K OBO
Looking for original, clean cruiser with minimal to no rust. Not looking to finish someone's project or fix their mistakes. Low mileage 2F or diesel engine (no v8 conversions). Tan color is preferred but not required. I do not mind if the cruiser is built to some degree (i.e. lift, lockers, winch, lighting, etc). Located in Texas and would be willing to travel a bit. Will make reasonable offer but not going to pay for emotional attachments. Pm me if you need to contact me. Thanks
Not mine but someone jump on this quick!!! The guy just dropped the price $500 over night. Little rough but it mostly all there. http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1977-Toyota-Land-Cruiser-FJ45-LWB-Pickup-Truck-RARE-W0QQAdIdZ496444952 Had to pass this on for good cruiser karma!
For Sale: 1982 HJ47
1982 HJ47 with 2H, 12V, RHD. Titled in Iowa. I have owned this rig for about 5 years. Came to me from New Mexico so the frame is solid. I have never driven it in an Iowa winter. Reportedly was an Australian military vehicle in a previous life and maybe that is why the back has been modified. Runs great. Just installed new glow plugs (toyota), new water pump, radiator and hoses, new speedo cable. It has a Wilson type manual glow system. Things I know need some work: the winch (PTO) has a broken gear box but is repairable, heater control valve is stuck, both driver and passenger door latches are loose, rear door seals need to be replaced ( I have new seals for all the doors), needs operational seat belts, and the only working...
Not my truck. Dardanelle, AR. $12,500, RHD, winch, pushbar, some sort of OBA. Truck is white and has "Mountain Gorilla Vet Project" on the door. 47nine-9seven0-3three11. A fellow I work with sees it every day on the way to/from work. Says its been there long enough for the Sharpie writing on the "For Sale" sign to have faded. A quick once over identified a small rust spot by the drivers front fender. Other than that he saw no rust. No pics. Owner may have some or I can get some when I get back from VA in a couple of weeks (provided its still around)
1983 BJ42 - Genuine Survivor
SOLD 1983 Toyota Landcruiser BJ42 - LHD North American spec (NOT a JDM import) 3.4L Diesel, 5-speed manual, power steering, removable hard-top 152,000km This is not a restoration, this is a genuine survivor. The paint is about 90% original (the rear corners have been touched up, and one front fender has been re-painted, other than that, what you see is the original paint from 1983). I spent a few years searching for "The Right BJ42" to try and replace the 1983 BJ42 that I sold in order to start my business. I came across this truck and it was "the one". Unfortunately, my life is so busy I don't get the time to enjoy it. I've put under 2500km on this truck since I found it, and just can't justify keeping it. Every fall it gets...
Well, I am doing the unthinkable by putting my BJ44 up for sale. I tried to sell it 2 years ago but changed my mind. This time is for real. Take a look at my craigslist ad 1981 Toyota Landcruiser BJ44 RARE. I didn't get a chance to take pics of the paint difference tonight, I will get it tomorrow. Main thing is what was done before the paint which was the rear corner being replaced. This rig is now 95% rust free. The bottom of the rear ambie doors and front left fender still have fiberglass but it is not noticeable. If I get the paint finished I will be asking for more $$.
Diesel BJ45 Land Cruisers
If you are looking for a diesel Land Cruiser, I can get one for you here in Costa Rica. All BJ40s cruisers in the US that are the regular Left hand drive have originally come from here or South America because the US didn't allow these imports back then. Having said that. Most of the cruisers here have 95% or less rust, lower mileage, mostly original, have clean solid bodies, and strong engines. There are a lot of really nice Land Cruisers here.We only look for the best. So if you are looking for a diesel Land Cruiser, we can get one for you. The price runs around $12,500 including free shipping from Costa Rica to your door, also included in the price are all fees, taxes, ect. Florida people can subtract $500 from the price because the...
