Well……I‘m extremely bummed! The purchase of the Bandeirante was for my wife and I to use and enjoy for many years to come However, it’s more utilitarian than she thought it would be. I’ve spent the past several months trying to convince her otherwise to no avail. During 24yrs of marriage I have learned what battles to pick and when to concede. So it is with heavy heart (I know, I’m being overly dramatic but it is because how much I like this rig!) the Bandeirante is up for sale. It sits as received from Bring A Trailer auction aside from the below things I’ve done. It has only left the garage a few times to drive around the development. Asking what I paid for it at the auction, $40k. Please let me know if there are any...
I am moving back from Fiji to California and I am considering bring back my 1984 HJ 47. I am not sure if I want to try and import it in California (which is nearly impossible from my understanding) so I thought I might put it up for sale here and see if someone from another state might be interested. I can help with the shipping from Fiji. The vehicle was "restored" here in Fiji and looks pretty good. The mechanicals are in good shape and it fires right up and runs great. I will sell it for $16000 USD and help with shipping to your desired port. Happy to get a quote from a local shipper here if there is interest and coordinate pick up. I would also consider a trade up or down for a HJ 45 or FJ 40 that is or could...
Not mine, but I'm curious what others think about this. Is it really an HJ47? I haven't found any other HJ47's listed online with the full backseat or backend that looks like this. I'm not a Land Cruiser expert, but I'd like some thoughts and opinions from others on this.
I have no affiliation or interest in any of the following:
Not mine, looks like it’s up at Vintage Off Road in flagstaff so buyer beware when dealing with them up there. That said, looks very complete for an LV. Just passing along for anyone in the market!
Putting this back up for sale now that it's finished (other than two Fabbed cross bars that Proffitts is putting on the bed rack for RTT mounting).
Titled as a 67 but has 84 style tub and wing window doors.
The build started years ago at Wolf Creek Rod Works until they folded. I then had it picked up by Proffitts.

Selling my Land Cruiser, mostly because my back is telling me that I need comfort. I have owned it close to 6 years, been driving it almost 4 years.
I started with a very good solid frame and put all of the old stuff back on. The cowling are tub are rebuilt from other land cruisers. I have spent over 20k on it, and it is a
diesel daily driver that is a pleasure to drive. But, I bought a 2011 Tacoma off road, and it is time to let someone else enjoy it.

I am posting this link to my bosses Fully restored 1978 FJ 45 Pick up.
We have extensive documentation on the work completed. The pictures will not do this beauty justice. I am a sales manager at Vancouver Toyota and we will be selling my GM's 45 through our store. I will post the link below. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Not Mine and No Affiliation - Just ran across it on Craigslist and honestly threw up a bit when I saw the wheels.
I always find it humorous when vehicles like this are advertised in CA from out of state - they're usually very suspect and incredibly overpriced.
Look at the front drivers side shackles - you think you'd fix that before listing the truck?
But hey, maybe if we list it in CA a rich guy will buy it sight unseen, and let's put a Barrett Jackson License Plate on it.
1982 land cruiser fj45. Lots of recent work done. OME lift was just installed. Runs and drives like an old land cruiser. 35” wrangler mtr tires. Old but lots of tread. Tires have been stored inside. Still needs work to be a daily driver. $30k or Trade for other Toyota’s, crawlers or who knows? 541-968-8425
I got a BJ42 from our brethren up north about 6 years ago. It got a complete engine rebuild 75,000 miles ago, with a garrett turbo and a 5-speed from some BJ60.
The trans/xfer package came from spectre as rebuilt. I get about 23-24mpg no matter how I drive, highway or around town, but I usually treat my equipment well.
That tells me that the 4.10 gears are eating economy, and I'd bet some 3.73s would boost that a few mpg.
The bucket seats are original, but need upholstery and foam. The jump seats are gone. Roll bar is nice.
Last summer, a saginaw setup was installed.
The steel wheels are the old OEM style 16" from city racer. (no hubcaps)
A bit more than half the tread left on the 5 duratracs 215/85R16, as I do 5 tire rotation...

Not my vehicle, but it is a beauty!
The body was removed from the frame prior to being stripped, coated with DP90 primer, and painted in two-stage Antique Sage Pearl. Additional work consisted of shortening the bed approximately 18″ as well as applying a LineX coating to the top and bottom of the tub and fabricating a pair of steel half-doors. Features include custom front and rear bumpers, a Warn 8k-pound winch with a synthetic rope, a roll cage, flat fender flares, and a bikini top. A removable hardtop that covers the cab area is included in the sale along with a soft top, both of which are shown in the gallery...

Any questions or more pics call or text 6094711953.
Not mine, just posting for reference. I drove all night from CO to Idaho for this one, it was listed for $2500 and I was all over it. Then the guy calls back and says people are offering him $10k plus for it, sight unseen. Well I saw it and $2500 is the right price, he was stuck on $10k, we parted ways. Soggy truck, wet, moldy and rusty. Lots of things taken apart and pieces missing. The search continues...
Our FJ45 didn't sell on BaT in November, but we are still interested in selling/trading and moving into something for family friendly (we are 6 now). All the information I could think of is in the BaT ad linked here , but if anyone has more specific questions that weren't there, I can dig them up and answer them. I am looking to get somewhere in the $50k range. Trade-wise, Ideally a FJ45 troopy or nice FJ40 with jump seats, in similar condition. Ideally left hand drive. Let me know what you got, thanks.
Www.Landcruisermart.Com presents a 1983 toyota land cruiser hj47 pickup. Diesel ehgine 6 cyl Price in nicaragua: usd 14,000 plus my comission 25%, shipping, customs brokers and additional costs.
Unfortunately, it is time that I get my 1983 HJ 47 Arkana to a better home. I don’t have much time these days to devote and I know there is someone who does and will love her like we have. She is also starting to get some body rust and while the frame is still perfect, she needs to get to a good home soon to deal with that and hopefully someone who can take this unique Cruiser to the next level.
A little history. I bought the Cruiser from a guy here in NC in 2008 that bought from Vintage Cruisers who imported it from Australia. They did a partial resto but pretty minimal and nowhere near frame off. It was an Western Australia mining truck and from what I understand it was the explosives truck and so you can see the...
