This 1974 FJ43 was in great shape when we first bought it in Bogota, Colombia, but it still needed some love. After a full overhaul, this rig not only looks fantastic but also runs strong, is extremely reliable, and is mechanically well sorted and tuned.
Work includes a bare-metal repaint in the original color and total refurbishment of the interior. It has a brand new OEM carb and we fully rebuilt the original 3.9-liter F.5 engine, 4-speed manual gearbox, and transfer case. It also has brand new steel wheels and mud terrain tires. I have decided to list another one of my personal land cruisers to start on other projects. This is a 1977 HJ45 H Diesel. The motor was completely overhauled including all new rings, pistons, oil pump, hoses, sleeves, gaskets...100% overhauled. Oil has been changed twice in 400 miles and breaking it in properly.
This HJ45 is the perfect candidate for a full restoration or drive as is. I prefer it the way it is and is VERY solid truck, drives great and almost 100% mechanically rebuilt. If you are familiar with the diesel H engines they are not inexpensive to rebuild and we spent over $4500 on the engine alone.

1964 Toyota Landcruiser Pickup FJ45 - project pickup. This is a great collectors piece once restored. I am slowly doing little things to get it fully operational. The engine is an original straight 6, F-type; it runs and has that great cruiser sound. The lights and speedometer and gas gauges work. The rear brakes need a little work as they are squeaky, but function. The body has the rust you would imagine for a rig this old and will need significant work to bring to it's true value fully restored. Price Drop!$18,500 I have a clear Colorado title in my name and the truck runs and drives great. Very good driver quality truck but not going to win a concourse. This truck is pretty darn rust free and very solid. It has an aqualu lower tub up front but the rest of the truck is steel. The bed and tailgate are in amazing shape with only a couple small dents in ribs. The truck has a chevy 350 out of a 69 camaro and runs very well as its powered with propane injection. All the gory details are in the auction but I am happy to give a quick rundown and answer any questions on here. I actually purchased it off Mud a few years ago and have been really enjoying it ever since using it for everything from a fishing/camping rig to a daily driver for a bit.

Very solid 1965 Fj45 lpb still wearing its original spring green paint. This is a great start for a patina build or full frame off resto. 97% complete with all the hard to find bits accounted for. Complete uncut dash with all knobs, switches, mirror, wiper motors, sun visor, all j hooks intact, roof latches, dome light, bug catcher latches and knobs, elephant horns, horn relay, headache rack,column shift linkage, vacuum 4wd. I have all the glass front, rear, corner glass, bug catcher, drivers window has a bullet hole) this truck has been sitting for 20 plus years in the dry California valley and is pretty much rust free, floors are great, roof has a little filler but is solid on the inside with just a little rust through at the pass...
