This is the absolute last year for the 40 series Land Cruisers it is a 1985 although it is listed as a 1980 because it has an assigned Colorado VIN, it is a 1985 FJ45, (this is a Saudi import with a Colorado assigned VIN plate that eBay didn't recognize). The engine has about 100 miles on it since it was rebuilt, it also has a new carb and a brand new Old Man Emu lift kit. Small rust patches are present low on the doors and the passenger floor pan has a rust hole, however, most places could be taken care of by a body shop fairly easy. This truck is a consignment that is owned by the former owner of Safari Limited here in Grand Junction so it has been gone through and needs nothing but driven or stored as a collectors vehicle. I bought the “Maytag” (the name bestowed by the late, great Denzel Ferguson) from the original owner in 1976, and it was my daily driver for more than a decade. I drove it less after getting a Landcruiser wagon so the kids would fit, but I still used for hauling stuff. I know I can’t drive it as much it needs to be driven, and it’s time for somebody else to have it.
Over 200k miles, some surface rust but otherwise in good shape. I had the floor rebuilt recently, and my mechanic replaced the oil bath filter with a screw on. It's had a Rochester carb for about 40 years, but otherwise it's mostly stock. Ready to drive or restore. I'm in Portland, Oregon, USA.

I have a 63 FJ45 SWB frame from a fixed top model. I have the title and vin plate in hand for it. The frame has been sand blasted and had a coat of Por15 applied. The rear cross member had a bad center that has been cut out, so it will need a new rear cross member otherwise it is a good strait and rust free frame. I call it a blank canvas because it does not come with anything else but your creativity, although I do have a hacked up cab I can throw in with it anyone is interested.

Costa Rica import. Lots of work done on it. It was frame off "restored" by a hobbyist/enthusiast in Costa Rica with a couple of hundred pictures showing his work. It's a decent job, but some things could have been done better. LOTS of new stuff. Clutch, pressure plate, battery, new gauge cluster, weatherstripping, turn signal assemblies, headliner, tires, stainless steel bolts, etc. We took it in and had the engine completely oil-flushed and new oil/filter put in. We had a new rear main seal put in because it was leaking. Had all the upholstery professionally redone. Have receipts for work done. It fires up like new and sounds great. Helping sell for a friend. They had a shop begin the conversion, but it's obviously not finished. The front floor boards are pretty much gone, the roof has some rust, and the front fenders and hood have filler, but the sale includes different hood and fenders that are straight. There is a Chevy 350 in it now, but I highly doubt it runs.

I have a couple FJ43s that just cleared customs and are on their way from Galveston to Denver. I wanted to post them here in case anyone's interested before the more traditional route (i.e. BAT, hemmings, etc.). They are originally from Colombia, near Bogota in the mountains, so both bodies are in very good condition and both run great. If the car shipper's estimate is correct, they should be in Colorado later next week. Then I need to title, etc. prior to sale.
#1 is a 1976 FJ43 hard top in very original condition. I don't remember the miles or km. Mustard yellow and has power steering & dash pad. This was a driver of mine in Medellin for a while. The only thing I don't really like is the upholstery color...

Most of you will have followed the rebuild on her over the last 12mths and know what has been done so I don’t think there is much point putting up a million pics however I have added a link for those who have not seen this build. I will be throwing in all the original LX Seats and Trim along with the original motor and a spare 3b motor with an AXT Turbo fitted (I believe that this motor has been overheated however it does have a newly rebuilt fuel pump fitted). This 1974 FJ43 was in great shape when we first bought it in Bogota, Colombia, but it still needed some love. After a full overhaul, this rig not only looks fantastic but also runs strong, is extremely reliable, and is mechanically well sorted and tuned.
