I need to re-pin one or perhaps all five pins on this Warn 5pin winch control. The pins inside my Deutsch terminal kit are just not made for this application, but if you have a source that you can vouch for pls lmk. In my case, the barbs are missing from the green wire pin so every time I push this connector into the winch box, the green pin doesn't make contact and my winch in feature doesn't work.

Thanks.

go to the page, there are a couple different sizes.
the spec looks pretty good compared to my warn pins.
agreed. This one looks like a closer potential, but won't know until I get home tonight.

This is how they're made for Warn Industries.

Let me know if you can't buy them individually. I can cut some off a spool for you if they aren't available in small quantities.

Let me go home and take pics of some dimensions to see if yours will work. So far, what I'm finding are too short for the holes they need to live in. Warn says they're not able to tell me or sell me the pins only, which I totally get.

Thanks.

If you look up the part number on TE's website you can download the datasheet with full dimensioned drawings.

Warn doesn't have the terminals. That's one reason they can't sell them lol.

It's easier to crimp some wires with the terminals than it is to break down the setup on the machine to cut off some terminals.

And you'll never get them crimped as nice as a K-press hammers them in.

I'm working on a design for a new wired winch remote setup using super common cords and plugs.

The proprietary winch remote plugs and the parts markup on these is absolute insanity.

It's a GD 10 cent rocker switch!!!

agreed 100%.

i ultimately went to a trailer plug on my remote because I didn't want to play this game.
i can totally see me doing this as well to both of my Warn winches that uses their 5 pin config.

May I please have some confirmation on what I think is needed?

I simply took the measurements of what I got on the dining table, and then found this to the closest match:

Sorry I thought you needed the female pins on the control box side. I don't have knowledge of the male pins used in the pendent.

that's ok, but I wanted your expertise regardless since this is your wheelhouse! Did I pick out the correct male pin for the female pin that Warn uses?
