Ah, that's annoying. The hurricanes have caused all kinds of delays and problems in the last month. Some of the counter personnel at USPS are also more re-assuring than others.

If you still haven't seen a good update with USPS tracking in a few days, let me know. I might be able to get it re-routed or something if I go into the post office.
I appreciate it, thanks! I think it will be fine eventually. Their last update was 9/12. I don't NEED it, but when I see how good they look I want mine!

Wife loves the key, so happy life!

Initially, the ss hardware was just a little too shy to engage the nut threads...I had to use the black hardware first time through to get the stack up to marry. After a few days (of the stackup being compressed) I removed the black hardware and used the ss hardware. This time the ss threads engaged the nuts and the key is even more cool than before. A+

Nice! Good tip! That probably explains why my tester worked so flawlessly. I used black hardware first, then switched to SS after a day or so and had no issues. It's such a small difference I could see the plastic compressing just enough to get that tiny bit of extra engagement needed.

FWIW, I revised the plastics after that first batch so most folks receiving fobs going forward should have good engagement right out of the gate.

I got mine installed and it works great!! Thanks so much! Now, please make one like this for my 2003 Tacoma!!! LOL!

Tacoma, you say? Look like the following? If so, that's next on my list...

OEM Toyota Factory 3 Button FCC ID GQ43VT14T TRW 88LPOO65 RSS-210 DENSO 89742-06010 AA020 Keyless Remote Entry Clicker Control Transmitter Keyfob Key FOB Pre-Owned 130

I'll check and make sure! AJT makes one but it is not compatible with my original one. I would be more than glad to be a guinea pig!

Interesting, I hadn't heard of ATJ. Those are some beefy looking fobs. They're like... twice as big as the originals. I wonder how he's making those. Injection molding tooling is expensive for anything that lasts more than a few hundred parts. I'm curious how the financials work on that.

Finally got the key in today! Not the USPS's finest hour. Looks great!

And of course I'd have one of the wierd keys... :|

Shout out to Andy (@suprarx7nut) for prompt response and fix for my issue. His commitment to a quality product and customer satisfaction is impressive. I have already had a positive comment on the key.

I've been watching this thread long enough, I might have to see this thing in person before pulling the trigger!
I'll definitely show you an in person demo. Or better yet, go up to the VT Overland Rally!

Mine is an odd ball too. The blade flares out just a bit before the T, enough to cause an interference fit on the housing. I don't want to stress the plastic so I'm going to file the blade enough to fit.

Otherwise looks great!

Hmm... That's bizarre. Don't suppose you can snap a picture of the interference? If you've got calipers to measure, that'd be even better, but I realize that's a long shot.

Just had to knock a couple thousand the off each side of the blade just below the t section. Here's the back of the original fob. It's the only one that came with the truck.
